Dak is better than Kirk and has done more but he’s just slightly better cause he’s more mobile. Dak is at the top of those Tier 2 QB’s but he’s not a Top 5 guy or Tier 1 QB no way.

I hate to say but the Russell Wilson contract debacle with Denver was the best thing that happened to the QB market. Outside of Patrick Mahomes all of the other QBs are completely overpaid. To be 25% of the team’s salary cap is insane.

The Cowboys should move on from Dak at the conclusion of his contract, see what they have in Trey Lance, and draft a QB in the mid rounds to compete.

I think we are witnessing Jerry Jones' wrath. This last season was the best chance to go far in the playoffs and they choked at home against a 7th seed with rookie QB. The increase in cap due to increased league revenue creates this problem. If the cap would stay put you would see all this level out in a fluid order in time but as it is we debate it. Its also a fact the QB gets a higher percentage of the cap number as well.

Please, Jerry Jones has dogged Dak Prescott at every opportunity. Dak became the starter over Romo, but still had to play on his rookie contract, still got tagged, but J. Jones immediately paid out the green for Tony Romo and Troy Aikman (Aikman was a very good quarterback).
