After Geras creates 3 hourglasses he gets access to the snap that freezes you in place. It counts as a mid so it can be blocked. If he meter burns an hourglass, like he did in the very beginning of the first match he gets all 3 charges instantly. Also that string where he slams you into the hourglass counts as him creating one.

Warching honeybee’s reptile feels like injustice 2 flash. Reptile is not bad by any means but is not that cheap like the top tiers, especially without a cyrax or sareena, but he makes him work and the combos are so flashy and good, setups and everything. Just bring joy to my face

King is for sure the best geras I’ve seen. Grr is cool and so is tweedy but they just don’t play the same as king. He makes full use of geras’s kit. Sure he uses the cheapest kameo in the game but he still needs crazy skill to do what he does.
I think Xombat is the best fr. His use of Laos teleport is nuts.

They're all GREAT on Geras. And they don't play the same as King, Yet little over 2 weeks ago Tweedy best ForeverKing in Geras v Geras first to 5 it's uploaded facts too early to just call him the BEST Geras. Different playstyles but a Ft5 win is a Ft5 win .

the invisibility reset you do is so good i need to learn asap 😅
If geras uses any move with an hourglass in it 3 times or meter burns the one where he summons above his head, he can stop time from anywhere on screen

💯 FACTS. 2 of the most skilled players
Every character has access to setplay with the right kameo. People value damage over everything with Kameos. No one talks about how good Sareena or Jax's down+assist are for certain characters.

@@versavices3776 Facts, damage and mix isn't everything. Lao spin kameo gives similar damage to Liu that other kameos can give but Lao gives throw combos and some pretty good zoning/pressure with low hat.

Honey, that was an amazing set) It is so boring to watch another match with baraka or Raiden. But your set with interesting characters like reptile and geras is so entertaining to watch. When should we expect your ultimate guide on syzoth ?) And as the most pro reptile player how strong does he seem to you ? Lots of tierlist put him in B category, do you think the same ? Watching your set with King I can't say that he is in any meaning bad character. At least decent )

I love this. 2 awesome players having fun and acknowledging each other's skill. No toxic teabagging or carrying on. It's so much better. Most of the MK1 community seem great. But there are one or two twats. I always get excited when I see honeybee pop up in a match. Or a lot of other names I recognise. I spend lots of time in Rips Arena! 😎

Bro can cache in a 45% with Reptile even tho he is arguably one of the lower tier characters in the game, that's how you know he can really play Reptile
Over head drop kick is -23 or -27 on block I don’t remember which
yeah, just hard to punish because he does the sand shif backwards. but some characters can dash up and punish

I think geras can cancel every move into a command grab. Its much to fast to react to that. Some characters in this game are really really powerfull.
If the opponent is dropping from the air that's correct for most of his moves, but against a blocking opponent, I think his move where he pushes you away with his chest then towards you with the wall is the only one that won't wiff the command throw, and you can only special cancel after either of the first 2 inputs, the last one isn't special cancelable. Also the command throw wiffs if that string hit so it's not a safe brain dead thing to throw at the end of the string.
Not saying it's not a strong tool though, cuz it absolutely is

Even Tweedy says Geras is a complex character thar requires a lot of thinking. Ive never seen anyone use all of Geras' abilities like Foreverking does. Geras looks fun but has a l9t of layers.

Using cyrax with geras is not easy either. Strings dont synergise well with copter and you leave alot of damage on the table while using net. King is just that good.
yeah, its a case where he's picking cyrax for the net, rather than the + frame pressure. But i dont think anyone else does it as well. Maybe sub zero can work. It's a unique way of seeing cyrax used but definitely worth it for the finger snap.
Its so funny how NOBODY in Kombat League knows how to fight Geras 😂 And the countdown full screen gets everyone for full combo! The nerfed my boy Geras into the ground in MK11 but hes so unique now I think hes okay
yeah, they took away a few extremely strong moves and replaced them with a lot of niche and interesting ones. Havent seen a Geras use every move the character has like that.

Reptile really needs a damage buff. Watching this vid and thinking about it, it really looks like hes doing zero damage compared to some of the other characters
He needs no buffs not as much as these other ones. I’ve fought a good Reptile.
He’s fine really, others need it more but I still think we need that invisibility damage buff back reptile is kinda underpowered compared to the other characters bs they have

@Warmerfaun THIS is the Way! He has tons going for him and Daddy Bee has launched some insane comebacks! It is a reasonable expectation that a reward for setting up thos sick invisibility sequences is a damage buff while invisible.
I just did 40 percent no meter with him and motaro. Like hell he needs a buff...
watching...because I started messing with Geras...I'm not fantastic, but he is fun and has so many options.
lab his spacing abilities, not only is he a time...."bitch" 🤣🤣 he is a god at controlling space. Also, yes when ever you see him db3 he's loading up his hour glasses to do the snap and stop time with no meter. If you were going to lab him, definitely get a kameo with a projectile. his df4 is op as hell but it is slow.
The best Geras uses Kung Lao and they can timestop the sh1t out of you

I knew that you'd eventually start winning after a rough start but that's not entirely bse of you adapting to geras but rather due to him tiring...geras buttons are taxing to the fingers...they be hurting the more you play the character. But great Reptile gameplay as always

I’ve never heard of someone say a character is taxing to the fingers before. As a geras main myself I do not have that issue
I do agree that some characters cause fatigue, sometimes it's physical or mental of the amount of split decisions you have to make
