    Okay, here it is: Press all 3 buttons with the slider closed. You hear a beep, but no flashing. Open the slider and press all 3 again to confirm. Another beep and now they flash. Now simply close the slider and it starts.
    When its done, fill the solution back into the tank and repeat the process by pressing any button. Afterwards rinse all the containers. Then fill fresh water into the tank and press again any button... it will rinse your machine. Once its done finish with pressing all 3 buttons... you hear another beep confirming that you left descaling mode and the nightmare is over.

      Para retornar as doses da sua máquina para a configuração de fábrica, basta realizar o passo-a-passo:
      1. Ligue a máquina e aguarde até que as três opções de doses parem de piscar.
      2. Com o controle deslizante aberto, pressione simultaneamente as dosagens do Espresso e Lungo.
      3. O botão menor, do Ristretto, piscará uma única vez indicando que as doses foram reestabelecidas.
      Por fim, faça a confirmação realizando extrações somente com água, sem adicionar a cápsula. Você deve identificar 25 ml para a medida Ristretto, 40 ml para o Espresso e 110 ml para o Lungo. Medidas recomendadas pelos nossos Especialistas, para garantir a qualidade e as características dos nossos cafés.     I have a Krups XN250 and will not go into descaling mode. It worked before but I lost the paper manual, so I came to this video. Pushing the 3 buttons will not put it into descaling mode. Resetting the water volumes to factory does work though, so what could be wrong?

    Je vous suggère de suivre les instructions en commentaire de Kura.
    J'ai moi même suivi ses instructions et cela fonctionne ! Merci Kura !
    Voici les instructions traduites :
    "Bon, le voici : Appuyez sur les 3 boutons avec le curseur fermé. Vous entendez un bip, mais pas de clignotement. Ouvrez le curseur et appuyez à nouveau sur les 3 pour confirmer. Un autre bip et maintenant ils clignotent. Maintenant, fermez simplement le curseur et cela démarre.
    Une fois terminé, remettez la solution dans le réservoir et répétez le processus en appuyant sur n'importe quel bouton. Rincez ensuite tous les récipients. Remplissez ensuite le réservoir d'eau douce et appuyez à nouveau sur n'importe quel bouton... cela rincera votre machine. Une fois terminé, appuyez sur les 3 boutons... vous entendez un autre bip confirmant que vous avez quitté le mode détartrage et le cauchemar est terminé.
    Profitez de votre café.

    Hola mi maquina no responde al pulsar los 3 botones, ni con tapa abierta ni cerrada. Al cabo de un rato, cuando debería haber alcanzado la temperatura de funcionamiento, se ponen a parpadear las 3 luces y nada ocurre, ni tan solo intenta arrancar. Me podéis ayudar?

    Ma machine ne veut pas se mettre en mode détartrage. A chaque fois que j'essaie les trois touches au même temps el en détecte qu'une. 😔

    My machine has never been descaled but I bought one now and my machine is U Nespresso maybe 4yrs old? Is it worth to descale it still? It’s still working but sometimes it looks like stuck or something,,

      Hi!
      I am going to do some descaling now. Unfortunately, machine turns on and I press it but it didnt flash not when I simultaneously pressed the 3 buttons. It does make a beep but didn’t flash with 3buttons. What do I need to do?

    My machine won't flash into descale mode. I hv tried over and over. I hv unplugged it for a whole day plugged it back in and it won't get into descale. It makes the noise but the three buttons don't flash. Can I get some help here.

    Don’t follow guidance in this video. For correct instructions - see reply from Kura. This video is incorrect and should be taken down by Nespresso. It’s almost as if they purposely want you to break your machine and buy a new one 🤔 Thanks Kura for correct steps 🙂

    للناس الي تحب تشرب كوفي في البيت؛ وتحب الكبتشينو ولديهم مثل هذي المكينة او ما شابهها؛ طبعا اذا كنت لا تستطيع شراء مادة التنظيف (سعرها مبالغ فيه كثيرا) انا استخدم الخل الابيض؛ الخطوات: ضع ٥٠٠ مل من الخل البيض في حاوية الماء الخلفية؛ وابداء بالضغط على زر الأخير في الزاوية اليمنى (زر الحليب) لتبدا عملية تنظيف الترسبات؛ بعد ان ينتهي؛ املئ خزان الماء وأبدأ التنظيف مكرر نفس العملية السابقة (بون خل ابيض)... بعد ان تنتهي..الان المكينة اصبحت جاهزة للعمل؛ بدون شراء مادة التنظيف الغالية.. بالهنا وطيب المذاق. لا تنسى تدعي لنا؛ الله يرحم والديك

    When I turn on my machine the single light doesn't stop blinking, all 3 buttons flash simultaneously. I have tried pressing all three buttons together at one time but I don't get a beep or anything! I think I'm in descaling mode but it won't descale! Anyone else encountered this problem? Any advice welcome. Thanks so much

      The instructions are wrong. See one of the top comments for the real instructions. Basically you hold 3 buttons with the slider closed, hear a beep, then open slider, hold 3 buttons again, hear another beep. Then close slider to start.

    This is wrong instruction. I tried many times - it doesn't work. I had to dig out paper instructions which came with machine, where it is correctly explained, refer to it instead. Nespresso shall redo this video.

      Descaling Nespresso - pressing down three buttons to start descaling process doesn’t work for me either. Is there an Australian help Number I can call?

      See Kura’s comment. There is a step missing
      After holding the 3 buttons you need to open the slot and hold them again. It beeps a second time and flashes. now you can close the slot and it will start.
