Is Virgin Australia coast to coast economy class ANY GOOD in 2023? [Sydney to Perth Fight Review]

Join me as I review what Virgin Australia' domestic coast to coast Boeing Boeing 737-800 economy class experience is like in 2023 under the new ownership and management of US Capital firm Bein Capital. Virgin Australia once operated Airbus A330 wide body aircraft on flights between Perth and the east coast capitals of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane which came fully equipped with impressive lie flat seats in business class whilst those in economy were even treated to free hot meals and drinks. With the disposal of narrow body aircraft on the airline's cross country routes and a move to an unbundled approach away from complimentary inclusions and a significantly scaled down service to a buy on board model in this review I seek to understand if the new Virgin operating model can be competitive in 2023?.

Such a shame they don't have the A330's anymore . Wide body all the way for east to west flights

Totally agree had flown the a330 coast to coast many times always a solid experience with VA. Even tried their business class with points around 5 years back it was a superb experience!
