Even on the first replay, you can see the ball change direction right before it hits. Exact same timing.
I feel nothing but schadenfreude for people who get hit with balls at sporting events because they're looking at their phone. You straight up deserve it.

I have an exam tomorrow, not sure why I’m doing this at 1:30 in the morning but at 4:26 if I’m right the ball (while ignoring air resistance) hit him with approximately 17N if my math for the acceleration is correct (117.2 m/s^2) and the average baseball is about 0.145 kg.
