Like ooh aah was their debut song. Back then they had a “wild eagle” concept which was meant to be edgier but fun. But with the success of cheer up they shifted and centered their music more in the cuter direction. It explains their much edgier outfits during their debut. It’s important to note that their debut was not wildly successful but a product of ceaseless self promo and guerilla marketing. They were handing out flyers on the streets for their showcase just like bts did. They were often performing completely exhausted and working 10x harder than their peers. These are things you’ll discover when you dig into their debut

Knowing what they've gone through really makes a song like ICON hit different. Some groups, because of certain concepts flex on songs even early on (as a debut even) and I just can't vibe with it. I'm like "You haven't done anything yet fr why are you flexing🤣"

(A Dive into the Living Legends)" for a well-produced/narrated summary of their career/significance/achievements, and "A Helpful Guide to Twice 2022" for getting to know individual member quirks/strengths/iconic moments via non-narrated clips. (that last video you watched might have been a bit too random to truly get an idea of how fun they are as entertainers)
Their "Killing Voice" performance is also a great live showcase of most of their hits (probably the best they've sounded live, too). It can be very eye-opening, especially for people new to them.
Yes, you should first check the most popular guide (Who Is Twice) A Dive Into Living Legend! It has everything you need to know about Twice, then if you want to know the character of each member you can continue to the guide in 2022 or 2024, both these it’s also good, but mostly base on the members and their discography written by each members.
I'd save the Killing Voice performance for later because there's a lot of little callbacks to their music videos that you won't appreciate if you're new to the group. Also, the Jaytzuu guide (the Dive into the Living Legends) is a personal favorite.

Twice is one of the very first groups I heard as a K-pop enjoyer way back when, and they are still by a long shot my absolute favorite group since hearing them first in 2016. and yes, you were right on the money! I can relate to your video because ICSM was the first song I listened from them. Back then I wasn't even into kpop at all and actually I'm still not, but I'm pretty much a certified once at this point.

Welcome to ONCE.
TWICE can be a bit intimidating to get into at first, given they are a long lasting group and there's so many of them. How I got into them was through their Time To TWICE series (on their CZcams channel). On that show they'll play games, go camping, play school, go on dates, solve mysteries, play sports, and so on. It's not really about what they are doing, but you learn so much about their personalities while they are doing it. I first saw them on Healing Camping where basically the company took them to the woods and just let them relax. Because of that, they didn't feel pressured to perform and I got to see of who they really were as people.
I'm sure the comments are filled with people recommending songs, so I won't bother you with that. Have fun getting to know everyone and listening to their music. A heads up, the stuff before FANCY tends to be their more cuter eras (as that's when they were younger) and afterwards it's more mature. They grew up with their music, is what I'm getting at, and it's actually pretty cool seeing them evolve through the years. Point is that if you don't like cute, then stick with their more modern stuff... but if you don't mind it, then ignore me, everything is fine.

BTS debuted in 2013, so they came before TWICE.
But BTS also started really blowing up in 2015 when "Dope" dropped, and since TWICE debuted in 2015, there was a long time where they were very similarly popular.
I think that's also where the "beef" between Jeongyeon and Jimin started, since they were on a lot of music shows at the same time.

But if you wish to know the girls' more and their kind of music, You can start the journey from their earlier title tracks and albums until present. It will give you an idea of their growth thru the years. There are guides and loads of content here on YT and on their Official channel as well. No need to rush, just enjoy the ride 🥰🥰

they were formed in a JYPE survival show called Sixteen, also had Jeon Somi and Natty in it, though didn't get in as they were too young

'Like Ooh-Ahh' (the zombie one) was their debut song! as for others, I really recommend 'Cheer Up' and 'TT' as those songs are what skyrocket them into stardom, and 'Fancy' and 'Feel Special' as those two was the beginning of their slight shift to more mature concepts.'The Feels' and 'Moonlight Sunrise' are VERY popular english releases.
The eldest member Nayeon, and leader Jihyo both have solo albums named 'Im Nayeon' and 'Zone' respectively with the title tracks 'Pop!' and 'Killin' Me Good' and the J-line in Twice have a subunit called Misamo (Mina, Sana, Momo) with an album called 'Masterpiece' with the title track 'Do Not Touch'. ALL the MV's for these songs are FANTASTIC and I really recommend them.
'Cry For Me' is also a BANGER of the song thats the furthest from their original concept but it was release as a surprise single during the MAMA awards.
