If Bungie fumbles Xivu Arath’s story in the home-stretch, I’ll be so sad, because if one reads the lore, she’s actually such a genuinely cool, scary, and sometimes hilarious character. ….I mean. She loves playing tag, figured out how to teleport by just getting really frustrated and “stabbing” spacetime, cries because her big bro’s gone and she’s having a midlife crisis, and used to prank said big brother by just **blowing up whatever entire planet he was on at the time.** She flies around in a fleet of grungy weaponized moons and she writes painfully raw slam-poetry about her family. I know she’s a billion-plus year old genocidal maniac who believes everything unlike her should die, but it’s genuinely hard not to be a little in love with her whole character.

I don’t think people realize precisely HOW MUCH of a menace, due to how haphazardly Destiny has told its story up until recently. My girl Xixi has been successfully slaughtering empires who scale with the Foreunners and Imperium of Mankind for the last BILLION plus years. She’s rolled multiple galaxies and multiple galactic arms of THIS galaxy. The Hive faced virtually NO competition until running into the Light, which kind of short-circuits their whole philosophy.
Unbelievable. Seriously props to the animation, direction, music on this. I was just catching up on content from the past year and saw this. I haven't felt that captivated by a cut-scene since Destiny 1.

Rewatching this and seeing Xivu’s wings with the hive ships makes me just think the witness’s size in a page knowing we’ll get a cutscene like this in final shape and could be just as intense

The funny thing is that it hews REALLY close to why basically every Destiny PVP format exists, but to my knowledge characters like Saint and Shaxx who are tied in with those end up having little to do with the Hive a lot. I wonder about this sometimes.
gameplay issues; Bad programming since the last update on Thursday, poorly done update. Players are having problems with gameplay. Even with FPS being 120, the game seems to run at 5 FPS. Making the gameplay bad. this happens in PVE and PVP. It is impossible to play for poorly optimized.........every computer is always up to date with updates. Waiting for Bungie Sony to correct this last Thursday's update error. Note the number of cheaters has increased a lot since the last update on Thursday. If the objective of the update was the effectiveness of the game's antivirus, it didn't work.

Eris is the most badass character in the destiny universe, truly one of the best written characters in the entire franchise.
