    🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on CZcams yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

I have always struggled with the moss stitch. It seems easy with the most basic of stitches, but invariably always puckers or pulls or the chain spaces are hard to identify in the first few rows. I appreciate the ‘slowness’ and attention to detail in your tutorial. You have given me renewed hope! I might finally be convinced that moss stitch isn’t the worst stitch in the world! Thank you x

Concerning stitch markers: I work my slip stitch in without removing the marker. It helps me to not lose my place, plus it gives me a little leverage to get into the last stitch. Then I remove the marker after making the stitch.

This is gorgeous and so easy. Except I'd start with a 2 loop Magic Ring. Once pulled tight, and remembering that the yarn is already going around the centre twice, just cut off the tail. No weaving in necessary. I'd also finish with an invisible join, but that's just aesthetics.

I love making infinite granny square blankets and this looks great, I'll have to try it, thank you. I personally like to always put an extra slip stitch in the first round to end up in the corner and from then on always turn on the corner, I wonder how the carrying the yarn would work out with that?

Another wonderful tutorial! I love the moss stitch. While I was watching I thought “why not just keep going and make one large square for a blanket?” What do you all think?

I just started making this from your video. I'm loving it!!! I made a couple of adjustments though....I started with a double magic circle and I'm changing colours in the corner. I'm also not turning every round. It's there a reason why you turn every round?.

Could you make a video with a solid moss granny stitch? I feel like it gets hard to follow if you wanna do one color, it’s hard to tell what’s part of the actual square and what’s part of the color change.

Long time fan, infrequent commenter, and I have a quick question. This seems like it would possibly be easier with a magic ring for the beginning? Is there a specific reason you went with a slip stitch start? Thanks so much! 😊

They are lovely. Quick question if I may. I am trying to crochet a cat's tail in " the cat in the window Afghan". It is a grey background and the tail is black. The tail is one stitch in thickness and the pattern moves the tail over by one stich every few rows. For some reason I have gaps in that the black tail is broken up by the background colour and I have tried everything. Any ideas? Hope this makes sense.
