Because there isn’t a whole lot of excitement during most matches. I’m not bashing the sport, but it’s just slightly more interesting than golf when watching live...that’s why I only watch the highlights for sports anymore.

@@onlee981 It's not so much that they won't show violence, it's that they don't want to encourage bad behavior during sporting events. TV is filled with violence.
they do it to discourage people from causing disruptions for the purpose of getting attention on TV

sound is amplified when traveling across still water because the temperature gradient above the water refracts sound that wouldn't otherwise have bent towards your ear (waves bend when transitioning to a different medium). they couldnt have been that far tho jesus

Put one and one together -- and, of course, the equation is not so far behind. The pigmented one has his ears rigid whilst turning his turgidity into the BBC.
Another bizarre one from the US Open:
Roddick v Ferrer, 2011. A bubble caused by the rain arises underneath the paint of the court, and the ball literally does not bounce up if it lands on that bubble. The match had to be moved to a different court. It was incredibly bizarre.

In 1979, Nastase and McEnroe's match became notorious when Nastase was disqualified, then reinstated because the referee thought the crowd might riot, and the umpire was replaced.
