Pete Tong says he joins the Hall of Fame and I completely agree. I've been listening to house music for DECADES and this guy, Cristof, oh my God, are you kidding me?? Legendary, Halloween of Fame is right, this dude is crazy, easily one of the best sets I've ever heard. I'm talking he is up there with legends like Jeno, Derrick Carter, but this is new Era stuff. So impressive.

What a amazing mix .. every track was a banger . So many times on the essential mix the DJ’s take forever getting into it with the slow tracks for the first half hour or so. This is one of the best mixes I have heard on essential.

Tell you what… went to my first ‘rave’ in ‘92 at the Gallery in Leeds… then did every club that you was worth it from 94-99… this chap has that Sasha, Digweed vide… you have to be into ‘the’ music and you’ll get so much more..

Remember supporting him and chilling out in the booth down in a small (now closed) club in Southampton UK called Junk. That was back in 2016...look now, good on ya boss
Sad ending to the club Junk mate, owner Steve McKinlay sold it at a great finacial loss in 2018, with the fear of losing his home which was surety against the loan of the club, Steve took his own life and hung himself, so sad ending for his family and the loss of a great club on Southampton Rd which was a brilliant dance club. RIP Steve.
@@222macman I have subsequently moved away from Southampton but yes I remember reading the news about this. I literally only met Steve once, got introduced in Junk by another of the lads who played there. Had a chat, looked me up and down for a second then got me booked in on the spot. Think that says a lot about how sincere he was. RIP Steve indeed

I mean honestly... The first track into about 7:30 is a completely different set. After 7:30 it literally turns into a very good mix but absolutely nothing compare to the first part. WHY MATE? "We're not like you"... I guess I am not like the rest of the set!
