    after watching the whole video, i wanted to share some of my deep understanding and insight to automatic kriya, there is a lot of misunderstanding regarding this, the real true yogi, are not the one who practice the movement or the breathwork, they are the ones who had been accessing the power the grace of the supreme self, and the real self within the heart is the one moving the body if the being is in deep meditative state, if one surrenders, the Real self is moving through the body correcting the energetic block and and correcting the geometry of whole system from skeletal specially the spine mascular and all of the internal processes of the organ, the body is a energy converter its always been automatic but its movement is limited and has limited amount of power, unless one has awaken the kundalini shakti, if man reach a very deep meditative state, the activities the movement done in full awareness of the self is all about the correcting the flow of energy of the body to unlock the whole chakra system all 118 chanels within the body and 4 outside, reaching a deep meditation is just the beginning the works that needed to be done after takes years and the physical work is all automatic kriya powered by the grace of the supreme self, each movement one will recognize it as divine intelligence power that corrects and unlock the infinite potential of the body, and there is this agreement with the real self that one must first be humbled through facing the darkness within ones self and allow duality to dissolve into oneness, so that when one receive the ultimate power of being one with the source it will not create chaos in the world by falling back into duality and ego.. one could say that one does not even have the will to move anymore once the real self had taken over because the will of the source is so beautiful that one is given the opportunity to be one with that movement, so the individual is not doing the dance or the kriyas its the true self doing all of this while the little self the ME.. get to witness this moments, and learn the true purpose of man and that is becoming avatars and the real self is preparing the vessel in which the real self will ride and the little self that of which we call ego will eventually become a humble servant of the one true self we call trh Godself.. and with this permanent grace is receive making the body fit to do anything and also remain in silence when its not doing any activity while the full awareness of the self is intact..

    Had violent sudden lurching movements for years during zazen. After a few months of Om japa and svs it no longer occurs. The last one was swaying back and forth then in a spiral, triggered by my first few breaths. I now enjoy the feeling of just being able to work, and stay deeply still without having to recover from the sudden movements. Thanks, Forrest.

    Thank you for another good lesson Forrest. This reminds me of a breathing ceremony I participated in, big deep belly to chest breaths, with occasional breath holds, one of the ladies who were holding the ceremony said she felt called to do some form of therapy, and gently held my head and rotated it back and forth, then walked away, and then with nobody there, I felt another pair of hands grab my head and hold it and rotate it back and forth the exact same way she did. It was very exciting... also this was right before I went into the spritual eye and saw buddhas form in a black outline. !!

    This is SO SO awesome - i was just talking to my husband about this tonight - trying to explain how some of the kriya positions are 'familiar' - and how my body will be in a position that it needs while i'm sleeping. And i was thinking about the wisdom of the body - and of course blown away by the set movements - and ponder the person who 'noticed' this dance back and forth.

    I didn’t find the following in your teachings yet. I take a deep inhale breath sometimes and just hold it while standing really stil. Sometimes all the senses act strange. Vision blur and heavy tinkling around the spine, chest, hands, belly, head, feet, can’t make conscious decisions. When it gets to a point that I becomes as heavy that my vision becomes black and my body starts shaking, I can’t realize or decide to exhale. I have no controle at that point. Two times I actually blacked out falling on the flood. This far I know it’s an overload of oxygen and blood pressure.
    But the more I enjoy and surrender to it the more beautiful the experience became overtime. I just love it. The most beautiful part is the engagement in the subconscious very heavy. It’s such a deep inner experience. It’s like sensing the real naked inner me without any daily concerns and disturbances
    Do you recognize this thing in any way.
    Is it dangerous to the brain or body besides the falling part. Cause sometimes the hearing and seeing is twisted and strange. But every time the effects are all gone within two or three minutes.
    People laugh about it when I tell them. Nobody could tell if it’s harmless.

    When I started Transcendental Meditation (TM) there was automatic movement of the body with Asanas, Pranayama , Mudra and Bandha. TM guide could not explain and asked to restrict my practice. Another Yoga Guide said your Inner Guru is awakening do not stop it. Swami Shivanand's book on Kundalini described it as sign of Kundalini awakening. Result was I lost total control (Free Will) and became like a Robot. But result was fantastic since then my body is flowing with nature and Prarabdha is unfolding without resistance.

    Hi Forrest. I practice Kriya Yoga as taught by Paramahansa Yogananda. However, the most profound and intense experience I ever had in meditation was about 15 years ago while I was at a Vipassana meditation retreat. It was the first time I had ever meditated. Actually, it was the first time I had ever done anything like that in a structured way. I had never practiced any type of meditation or yoga before that. On about day 7 of the retreat, while I was in the middle of a meditation sitting, all of the sudden, it felt like everything disappeared. EVERYTHING. I remember seeing, in my mind’s eye something that looked like a candle flame, or faint concentric circles. At that point, that was all I was aware of. I was not even aware of my body as a separarte thing. At that moment I WAS what I was seeing. I was that “flame”. Every sensation WAS ME. There was no separation. ( Later I discovered that was my first Samadhi.) Then a few days later, on the last day of the retreat, during my final meditation sitting, it felt like all of the sudden, electricity began shooting up from the floor through my spine. My body was shaking violently. It was almost like I was having a grandma seizure. Today, as I mentioned, I practice Kriya yoga as it was taught by Yogananda. (I am actually a minister at the CSA, an organization that was founded by one of his disciples.) After I practice my Kriyas and practice OM Japa through the chakras, and I use Vipassana for my meditation. However, since my first samadhi 15 years ago then, I have not had anything remotely close to that happen to me but I would like to experience that state of Samadhi again. I have been following your channel for quite some time now and I enjoy your content. Thanks for putting it out.

    These started happening to me spontaneously when sitting or lying down. It felt like an energy would hit me, and I would jerk. I am not a meditator. I did have a Kundalini awakening years ago and now have p healing and psychic abilities. now I call it glowing. I often have to close my eyes for just a moment to process it and take it all in, starting in my chest down to my waist and then going up to my head before calming down.

  • @Scetchye
    @Scetchye Před 3 lety +2

    For some time, and still increasingly, my life has become more and more automatic while I remain in the back seat just observing what is happening. Yoga comes by itself like my body knows what to do, I eat when my body says so but I don't measure the ingridients or spices, they just end up in to my food by automatic selection and most of my activities seems like being ran by someone other than me. This is fine, since I seem to be very aligned with everything and "choose" the right action at the right time, but the problem (or so I think) is that my memory is fading, I don't understand words or meanings, from time to time I don't know how to speak, or know what to say and when and being around people is quite difficult. I have this weird tingling like sensation around my eyes and forehead, which I've thought to be 3rd eye opening, but you never can be sure, so I've just allowed it to be and not stressing about it. It feels really odd to be able to realize huge truths about life, universe and everything, and at the same time forget how to spell the word 'milk' 😅
    Now, a question. Is this kundalini rising, or could this be something else? I'm sometimes a bit nervous because of the cognitive degeneration, but as I can't seem to be able to do anything to it then why stress about it more. But to be honest, I'm actually a bit terrified for not being able to discern what is happening.
    Also, you wouldn't happen to know any heart opening exercises? I'm asking because my heart feels like and seems closed (at least at the time I'm writing this. Time is so weird...)
    Sorry for any typos, I'm having a hard time finding the right words and sometimes may forget what I was even writing on about.

      I know this is old comment, but grounding exercises may help? If you want to balance the spiritual life and earthly life you need to bring your energy down a little. Feels like what you are describing may happen if your higher chakras are very well developed compared to the lower ? It feels like you are fading into a higher dimension. Bringing down the vibration - eating heavy food ( even meat but may be too much for you) thinking about money, doing physical work like gardening - nice way to bring energy back to earth rather than food and money.

    I learned how to turn it off. i.e bringing the energy and ego outside the subconscious. So whenever I want, I can live like any other person not knowing kundalini experience, not noticing anything inside. And whenever I want, I can do the opposite. It takes knowledge of the root. It is just like a switch. My kundalini awakened when I was 16, due to me not breaking celibacy since birth. Now I'm 26. It is possible. But would I encourage everyone who wants to turn it off? No. I can't take responsibility for that.

      Getting outside in nature would be great, to ground. Since you can't I'd try a little hot and cold therapy. Get under the shower and get it hot (but bearable) for one minute. Then get it cold (as bearable) for one minute. Go back and forth in this way, and see if it clears the pain. ... Make that relationship I talk about here, and see if you can get your subconscious to simmer things down for you. ...Try a little Hakalau, and see if it calms your state down. ... Put your hands on the floor, and imagine you are feeling the steady earth way below you. Let your mind dive deeply into that steady and secure feeling below you.

    Great video!... Question: About a year ago I went to a chiropractor and had what I assume were EMS sessions(they put sticky pads on my middle back where the pain was located and they created cyclical spasms,muscle contractions).. I still feel ghost spasms every now and then...Can EMS on or near the spine affect one's ability to achieve kundalini? Im Worried that the path from the root to the crown was severed somehow,is this a valid concern?

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  Před 3 lety +3

      No they can't hinder your progress. The Kundalini journey is to become internally sensitive, and a little bit of EMS is not going to stop that journey. I would maybe suggest the magnesium soak which is on my channel I explain how to do that. Or perhaps apply some calendula gel each day, and see if that doesn't free you from those ghost spasms.

    First of all, good job Forrest your channel is one of my most valuable resources related to meditation. Your explanation n insight is amazing! So Thank you very much sir!
    I rarely comments on CZcams, but got to comment on this coz i'm having the exact experience.
    It prolly started 5-6 years ago after one of the meditation retreat i attended. It triggered like couple days after the retreat, so i've always been looking for some answers ever since.
    In my case, It's not just tinggling sensations, similar to your friend's, it's BIG upper body movement (if i'm sitting, but i could also move around automatically while standing), also akin to your friend, my hands often forming some mudras. Poking various points on my body (dunno if it's hitting randomly or targeting some meridians)
    I could enter this state anytime i allowed it (a little concentration will trigger it). It's not annoying per se... Since i'm in full control, whether or not to "let it rip" or to stop it.
    Like i've said... I've been looking for some explanations ever since, but so far the answers from many masters or gurus haven't exactly satisfactory. Some said "let it rip, have fun, enjoy the sensations", some said "U must stop it! U must be the master of ur body, not the other way around."
    I'd do your sugestion but I'm interested to know your take on this... What should I do? Let it do its thing n enjoy it? (Of course not in the public, lol 😂) Or limit this automatic movement as much as I could, which one could hinder my progress as meditator and your reasoning? Is there any video(s) you recommend me to watch?
    Again, thank you so much for this channel, and coping with my wall of texts 😆. Good day sir!

      Freddy, wow! Yes, very similar! So exactly as I mentioned on this video you cannot stop it with an authoritative control. Or perhaps you could but it wouldn't be a great thing to do to yourself. Instead sit back and enjoy it when it comes, until you want to get into a deeper meditation. At that point we need to create that partnership, and tone down the outward manifestation by creating more of the freeze response. This will help to silence the outward movement so that we can go even deeper into the freeze and eventually into the non-dual state.

      @ForrestKnutson  Před 3 lety +3

      It possibly could in removing negative emotions that freezes up and allows us to journey inside more completely. However the best practice is the HRV resonance and the SVS and the OM Japa. You're doing wonderfully Victor. 🥳🙏

      @@ForrestKnutson I was wondering if this advice was specific to this particular student, or would you say this for most others as well. I have sometimes wondered the same thing, but timeline therapy seems confusing and difficult for me to grasp, even though is said to be very easy. However, heart rate variability, SVS, and OM japa with and after kriya, I understand and am attracted to or at least have (or want to have) the desire to want to practice.

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  Před 2 lety +1

      @@801oap absolutely, I think it is very good general advice. When I made the Big Bliss Training, I wanted to show that Time Line Therapy, Huna, and OM Japa can be used as parallel therapies. If one of them does not make sense to you then the other two can be used equally well. Now I've had adepts ask me if reiki can be used in a similar way as well. Absolutely, so long as you use the same understanding of asking if it's okay to let go of something, and then making sure it is totally gone. The wonderful thing about OM Japa is that it cleans out both things that we know are negative in the subconscious, and things that we don't know. Things that are held below the conscious level. Great question!

    Hi Forrest, thank you for this video. You said that if we have physical movements along with the feeling of sensations from within, then the freeze response is not proper. Should we do anything about it?

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  Před 3 lety +1

      That's right, it's not as deep as it could be. That's okay in the midterm but in the end we want to quiet down as much as possible so we can enter into the non-dual state. To this end we want to awaken more of the dorsal vagal complex and that means the HRV resonant breathing, and the SVS sitting very still.

    Great video as usual Forest thank you. Can you say for sure or at least with your experiences that the “higher self” or “god” is not your subconscious?

    • @ForrestKnutson
      @ForrestKnutson  Před 3 lety +2

      Thank you Joseph! Oh yes absolutely. You will feel it. There's a strata of the slow brain waves which are very slow and simplistic. Then later when you stretch into an experience or a touching on of the Higher Self you will feel a much faster and much more knowing Intelligence. The part where it gets confusing is these two communicate quite well. This is why the kahuna of Hawaii would tell the subconscious to relate information to the Higher Self. Because they could talk to each other so to say. So in many views you see the subconscious stretching into the Higher Self. But when you actually experience it, and you probably already have, you will know it's definitely a different experience.

      @@ForrestKnutson thank you for always taking the time to respond you are the best and it always feels good to watch your videos and get a little more simplified and centered. I myself just love to over complicate things.
      I have had some interesting experiences and the whole intense vibrations before sometimes leaving my body. Or in deep hypnosis/freeze response some funky things happen but i still wonder what is more my mind or the higher self. But i like the idea how you say the subconscious communicates with the divine or higher self which in return bridges the gap for a nice connection. Anyhow hope i didnt go to far off the deep end there hehe and thanks as always!
