    Fun Facts: Davis actually struck out more in 2013 (199) but he lead the league in HRs (53) and RBI’s (138) that year
    He also is 3rd all time on the single season strikeouts with 219 in 2016
    So it’s not really the problem entirely that he struck out a lot, but he didn’t deliver

      Yeah Chris Davis also has some of the worse vision at the plate I've ever seen, but his bat speed hurts his vision even more because it's take him so damn long to get the bat to meet the ball, basically means he has less time to make up his mind. Actually if you go back and look at Davis' best seasons he was hitting plenty of pitches that were way out of the strike zone for homeruns, my guess was that Davis' confidence and hand-eye coordination was just better back then.
