    The Great Goddess is the name that we've given to the divine feminine. Which is the missing half of everything, the Great Goddess is the missing half of everything. Western religion has lost track of her, several thousand years ago. And ever since then, [laughs] we've been jumping further and further off the rails. She has historic precedence for all of us, and is returning. It's the term that we use for the divine feminine principle, the universal feminine, the other half of the masculine principle. We anthropomorphize the Great Goddess, she has human qualities, just as we have, sacred qualities, right? She's the metaphor for which we relate to the divine feminine energies.
    They have to deal with a full range of qualities that we discern as individuals, and think of as human characteristics. Strength, the capacity to be a warrior, to defend children, or the land. She's nurturing, she's the Goddess, she's fertile, and creative, and sexual, and she's the crone, she's wise, and ancient. So the Great Goddess is the title that is the umbrella, that is the over-arch, of continuity between that full range of qualities of being, of feminine being. Which have, many of which have been thought of as masculine. There is a question that comes up a lot now, was there a great matriarchal culture, was there a single Great Goddess, and that doesn't seem to be born out. By careful archaeological digs and analogical studies of language. But, there was no one unifying Goddess because their were distinct cultures. But each of these early pre-christian cultures, including the early Hebrew culture had a Great Goddess, had a divine feminine. And that in turn would sort of, break into these various characteristics and figures that embodied the various characteristics.
    She is returning, the most important thing about the Great Goddess is that, she's a mirror in which woman can see themselves reflected. And she's a source for men of aspects of themselves, that the culture hasn't honored. The creative impulses, the erotic impulses, the playful impulses. She's a muse to men and for many men, she's a lost part of themselves as well, that is being rediscovered.

    I don't understand why all these Christians are watching these when they know what she will be talking about. All you guys seem to want to do is spread hate, and tell people like me that we're going to hell? If your one God did love everyone as you say he does. i wouldn't be going to "hell". All my Gods love me, and do not need to be worshipped like your "one god", and they accept my sexuality. So i don't see how my religion is evil, when yours is the one spilling blood.

      @Rotisiv Před 3 lety +3

      God is beyond ying/yang and is also beyond being male or female. He’s only got gender because of how our languages work not because Yahweh/Allah (the Abrahamic God) has no gender. We’re the ones who have genders and who are unique. Humans are a like a precious jewel in the Creator’s “Hand”.

    Alabareth also known as the "Great Goddess" is the chosen spirit, the guidance and the truth. All things within ourselves. The unrequited love. The peace. The acceptance. The mercy. The forgiveness. A humble and blessed deity of power. All things considered, she is heaven's virtue. She was elected to serve God's people as a member of the Democratic Republic of Faith. She currently sits on the celestial throne in heaven. God sits on the highest throne along with his son Jesus Christ.

    Is the great goddess different from the triple goddess? I see her as feminine energy that we personify; the metaphor can fit the triple goddess and mother gaia and any part of feminine energy, any feminine energy. Creation energy is all of that combined, the creation that came out of the non-binary concept of chaos? Am I a mess?

      The Triple Goddess is a way of looking at the Great Goddess. In the gender oriented Craft, the nonbinary aspect is not exactly nonbinary but a perfect union between binaries, Goddess and God. This is the All/One and can be seen as both hermaphrodite (male+female) and gender neutral

      The reason was the first tribes were lead by powerful female chiefs acting as spiritual leader and sometimes as warrior ones. Men were also recognised as well as their female counterpart. Later Men have reversed the role of power by taking it for themselves as you can see in all antiquity religion where spiritual as military power were held only by men and woman were mere than mothers or objects of desire
