It is crazy to think about consistently hitting those notes for decades in life performances when your voice is tired during a long concert. She is really amazing.
She can still hit them but her nodules just are more inflamed than normal so it effects her voice but when she's well rested she hits the notes like she did in her thirties .
In 2022 she definitely wasn’t as good as the other years (that’s why she started with an E6) but she still did it! I would say 1991 was her best one. That was a legendary performance at Arsenio Hall I was blown away. She went to an F#7 or something in the later whistles, which, in the studio version, is actually an E7!!
@@benlodge9649 I wish it was a high falsetto but a whistle doesn’t have to be so airy. Theres actually a whistle quality that sounds pretty full and less airy.
@@Fr0zenPeanut Her Emotions record version registered the highest octave, and it sounds crazy, but in her live performances, she lowered the octave because that's less risky and more comfortable. but over the years, her voice and upper register started to deteriorate, and she lowered her octaves more. You can compare her 2022 live version with her early 90s live version. It's very obvious.

Well you can tell the older you get few notes you cant hit no more. Yet shes the living legend still❤

Daydream and music box is still the best❤
All Mariah albums are the best. I'm a real fan
@@kennettabradford6566 i mean not the albums but the live version of Emotions i lobe music box era and daydream era😭😭😭
🎉
I love your whistle Note girl
1992 and 2022
Um no. Song is transposed down in 2022 and whistle sounds dry AF.
❤Mc🎉
1992 ❤❤❤
I don’t hear a difference except for the 2022 one.
How does she sound exactly like in the studio ❤❤❤❤, she’s insane

The E6 in 2022 is the note every emotions whistle in that verse has been since 2010.
I remember when her first video hit MTV.
Woaahhhhh 1991🤯
It was God who gave her this talent!❤
Um, OK. The Sky Fairy had her practice, incessantly and develop her talent and to....Nevermind

The penultimate live of this video: Cologne in February 20, 2000.
Pretty sure the 1999 is 2000
69th Commented 💙 : We're back again to this video.
2022 was the weakest one-but she still rocked it 💪🏾😊
91 and 92 are a half step apart
1991 / 1992
isnt the one labeled 1999 from 2000?
It actually is 😭. I always mistaken RWT as 1999 😭
Why does she put her hand to her ear when she does the whistle tone, does it help somehow?
It does! It helps you hear the notes and sounds u sing making her whistle alot more on-pitch and stable.
I think it sounds better in 1992 and 1993
She can still sing
2022 it's like head voice?
Ngarag na Nung 2022
I meant to say by that some people would achieve shit using the nose the gust the whatever !
I don't care about the whistle note it's the ...............😂😂😂😂
I feel like she normally does like one note higher or is it just me
biggest flex is i can do this note
Rip voice 2022 no more mariah carey
Wdym? That is probably one of her best attemptd of that note ever.
@@DaydreamCarey1234 no… literally based off your own compilation this is false. Quite literally every attempt prior except 1999(2000) is MUCH better.

1991 was highest. How come it’s also labelled F6 ?
No? Its F#6
Gayriah ended the others
Why she DOESN'T like JLO.....
She doesn't know her...
There’s no such note as F6 🤦🏼♂️
Yes there is?..? An F in the 6th octave is an F6.
Too much breathy
Vocal Decline
and octave just getting lower and lower....
What do you mean? These are all in the sixth octave
The first and last clips aren’t even a single octave apart???
