Woah Morissette's runs in the whistle register were insane! Morissette, Chante Moore, Mariah Carey, and Minnie Riperton (Minnie's 17 SECOND whistle note is out of this world omggg never heard anything like that) are the queens of whistle register and Ariana Grande would come after these 4.
None of Mariah's best whistles were chosen for this video.
Because it’s not the point, the point of this video is to showcase less overused clips.

yeah, the excessive level. she uses that register about 30% of the time she is singing, and it's not pleasant to the ears. Only Mariah and Minnie are smart enough to use it minimally and let their natural singing voices shine.

@@CarloRodriguez10 Ok that person is obviously a pressed lamb. It’s not Mariah used her whistle in every single song. My favorite Chante whistle is when she sang in her whistle register for almost 5 full minutes. I listen to that performance a lot lol

@@CarloRodriguez10 some Mariah's clips right IN THIS VIDEO wasn't even her prime. It's way after and she's still got it. Also I think I'm not hating or anything, even Mariah oversing (but I think only for once in 1990 and it's not in whistle tho). It's not wrong to say Mariah and Minne are superior when it's come to whisle, but saying they're the only good whistlers... 😂 Though, oversing is one of the worst things to do in singing and Chante is doing it so much.

*Demi:* Also cool that she’s using this part of her range more. It would be nice to see her put it in songs without it being in the background and sing them live on stage.
*Tori Kelly:* She delivered that like the main character who was previously shy to show her vocal talent but took center stage at the last minute to reveal her immense talent to the world.

The first G6 is legit. The second one is more computer tuned but it’s still her voice
