I will live stream in about 12 hours, completely spent from this parts hunt lol, hope you guys enjoyed it!
I just got an MSI RX 6800 XT Gaming X Trio for $1050 usd
Hey Brian, amazing content as always. I wonder if you can help me with a weird issue I'm getting: I replaced the stock i3 4130 with an i5 4590 on a Lenovo E 73 desktop and although the chipset/mobo supports the CPU, I get no video output. I've tried updating the BIOS from lenovo's website which didn't help. The old CPU works fine if I put it in now but any more than 2 core CPUs will give any output (tried 4590S and 4690 that I have lying around, Pentiums and i3s work fine) . Pointers very much appreciated.
Keep on hustlin' mate!
Have you ever done a dedicated Windows XP build or 98 build with glide wrappers. I've been building a few. Amazing how many FPS you can pull with a 10 dollar GPU !. I really enjoyed playing Unreal the other night at 100 fps+ 1080p on a 20 dollar machine, very low wattage machine too. PCIE slow powered only.
@donaciux thanks! You mean I did something right when I bought this! I was hoping that I grabbed a decent deal!
Gonna give your tought on what awesome build you are going to do with that MSI 1080 TI ?👀 Although I switched to Asus from an MSI GTX 980 to a ASUS RTX 3060 Ti TUF Gaming I could grab, that awesome MSI design makes me nostalgic.😍 I sold the MSI GTX 980for 150 Euro's to put towards the buy. I used a Gigabyte GT 730 2 GB DDR5 in overclock to fill in the gap for a while. It looked a bit silly sitting in my rig being so tiny. It could play some titles I liked though.
im so glad u are sticking with price/performance and not rgb rtx 3080 builds those get stale imo, but nothing beats squeezing every single drop out of an old intel cpu. i have to commend you for sticking by the little guy and helping those people who cant afford the expensive bling. keep being yourself dude much love!
He is the king of price to performance and I agree, all the samey builds other tech channels do get really boring. whats more interesting, another ryzen 5800x and rtx 3090 build or an x58 xeon being pushed to its limits with a decent card like a 1080 ti?
Yeah his builds are so good.
@Jip Jackson As has already been said, It's about price. In this market everything else is priced to oblivion, and the fact is games *can* be played on the GT 1030, people also game on AMD APU's that are the same performance as the 1030. Not everyone plays games with large amounts of bling, in fact many of the most played games can be ran on a potato, think Sims, Minecraft, CSGO, Rocket League, WoW, Fortnite, Valorant, GTAV..
@@ManGrieves yeah like these guys that get no bitches try so hard with 2k dollar builds and once i saw a guy finished that build the next day his apartment caught on fire and everything's burn to ashes including his 3 monitors, figurines, and 1k$ chair i felt so fucking happy
@@deardoue69 unless the guy was an absolute piece, that's pretty fked to be THAT jealous to say some asinine bs like that...wow
No one grinds harder than you Bryan for used PC parts. That's dedication for you.
The best time of the month is the Parts Hunt!
Imagine pulling up to the yes man for a street race and he walks you with the stinger full of oems lol
Leave it to the B man to save the parts hunt for the absolute last day of the month. Cheers mate! Always look forward to these!
Indeed it was one of the best hunting months for you, loved the episode+editing!
Love the part hunts videos - look forward to seeing what you make of it all - all the best
That rare folded up cracker for $123 is a steal!
I always love watching you do some Tech Yes Magic during these strange times. Keep up the good work. :)
Any episode with you in the Tech Yes Mobile are my favorites. Done the same myself, can be really rewarding but also super stressful.
I always keep a gt 730 , gt 660 & low profile OEM business computer AMD GPU for testing. I love seeing the older Intel boards and parts that show up on your channel.
Love your work man, keep up the good work!
Finally, my best kind of videos❤❤❤❤❤❤ keep it up TechyesCity
I live for these videos every month.
Super satisfying seeing the Stinger full to the brim lol, good haul this month :)
Nice selection of pick ups some nice deals there 👌👍😉
Always nice to see Les
people have food crumbs in their car but this guy has leftover RAM XD
July 2021 was good for PC parts!!! Good job sir!
MSI 1080 TI Sisqo "Unleash the Dragon" Edition cracked me up man, good one🤣👍
Uses deals hunt are baller as usual. I also scored an rx 570 for 115 and a gtx 1060 for 200 aud today

My favorite pc youtuber back at it again
Nice video. Awesome haul
Great to see you back out and about grabbing bargains again matey
yes bring the multitasking content.....not all heavy but a game running with chrome,PDF and other small software open in background
This is such a fun hustle
the mysterious moment when Bryan doesn't hurt for potato deals.Always rocking mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for putting USD btw! AU is a more difficult conversion to Euros than USD, so thank you for taking the effort in converting, editing and putting it all in, I'm sure you would save a lot of time if you didn't have to do it.
Also, those are actually some decent deals, obviously not the same as 8-10 months ago, BUT, none the less that's still pretty good.
yup. some part i got cheaper then him but that is a french destockage site every sale (so every 6 months..) they go upto -75% on there returned product.. got x570 aorus elite 45€ and asus tuf x570 48€ 2x b450 M asrock for 17€ couple china brand 25€ rgb crap cases always usefull. got 5 AIO 240mm watercooler for less then 30€ a piece ARGB ones. (coolermaster enermax deepcool) a b550 mini atx aorus 25€. and i dont know what els i got so much stuff just went ham
That Subaru Legacy looks sick on 5:00, i love those!
1:57 yooo a folded cracker rare, facebook has the heat 🔥🔥🔥
lmao I thought I was the only one that saw that
love the steal on the i7 office pcs.
I've been watching your channel for a few years now and have a habit of buying bargains when I see them. Unfortunately I'm not so good at moving them on so i've become like a cat lady but with PC parts. It's a real problem :)
I have kept my Gskill DDR3 because my older rig sometimes works with other memory and sometimes does not. Thanks for the reminder. When I took the board and put it in another case my old rig failed to boot, but I had forgotten that the Gskill has worked every time and I had other memory on my MSI board that once did not. For years I had other DDR3 that seemed to work fine - which is why I forgot it was not as good.
Woah! The old school PSU. Blue and gold looks dope!
Love the Stinger GT!!!
Great content!
I've got the G Skill Ripjaws X red DDR3 memory in my old rig and you are right...it IS real good memory! It over clocks quite well too! 👍👍
I saw the thumbnail and I was hoping to see more of that Kia Stinger. Would love a tech review of that
I bought an Intel i7-3770 on ebay for 100 USD for my old 2012 Lenovo Edge 72, which crawled along with a i3-3220 or something like that, and a GT450. I bought a new GTX 1650 for it, which is more valuable than the rest of the system. I also need a 550 W PSU, because I took the 750 W PSU out of it and installed it on another build. I will be donating the Lenovo to my nephew. It's fun reviving old systems.
love that case. first build in it and still have it. waiting for a new set of innerds
@12:48 when the city planner loves rgb.
This month besides gpus went very well. Congrats to that 1080ti.
That Dell case should work well, You can get a 4 pack of 2 pin power switches and just change the power button, that's what I did on mine, the same case now has an i3-10100, 16gb of ram, and GTX 1650 super, if you get a SFX power supply it should slot right in and any MATX motherboard should fit. I also used a Dremel and cut a hole in the front behind the front bezel and added a 120mm intake fan.
12:38 absolutely awesome.................................
The Prodesk is easy to get around post problems. I have made mine work in a new case and dont have to push F1. Usb3 header i connected pin 10 and 7 with a wire Pin 10 is the one on the row with 10 pins and in the oposite end from the one missing pin. On usb2 i connected pin 8 and 10. Usb2 you can connect pin 10 to either 8 or 7 and they are the once next to the one pin alone on the end and thats pin 10. So now i can use what i want and dont have to have the problem with F1 during Boot. HP and many others use sensing on the headers to see if they are connected. Easy fix..
excellent price for all that!!..for real! that is a good deal! hard to find lots like that around here
You've got a stinger!!! My next car for sure, need to upgrade from my 2013 optima sx
Taking the racing line through the roundabouts 😉😀
Electric video Bryan! Love your energy! Regarding the question of the day it maybe the case the 3600MHz ram will overclok to 4000Mhz anyway depending on the motherboard or if it is AMD/Intel! Graphics cards at the moment are a nightmare and the 6700XT having a $379 MSRP is worrying. They are colluding towards $400 mid range! That stops like a GT3030 coming out it is depressing!
No 3600 cl16 will ever get close to 4000 cl14, (which i doubt it even exist), not even on the same Galaxy! Also, ram is overrated...
Although i think it's a typo, it's the 6600xt at 379, which is absolutely scary, but good luck finding it at that price.
@@TheSilviu8x Ah of course I forgot about the timings and you are right about Ram! Also, $379 yup as if!
I recently scored a Gigabyte X58 Extreme mobo with Xeon X5687 and an Asus GTX780 and 6x2 gigs of RAM. Came in a Cooler Master Storm Sniper Mesh, got a 21" monitor as well. Paid 70€.
Sold the monitor for 50 bucks, traded in the case and power supply for another 50.
The office PCs are the best deals here. Pair them with the gt 1030s and they can play e-sports at a great budget. Lets hooe for more gpu deals in the next hunt. Cheers!!
And those old office pcs with a GT1030 make excellent retro gaming systems. Thousands of great old games you can play on there for free!
@@SirReptitious load lakka, retroarch, batocera in a usb or ssd plug a controller or two and you have the ultimate arcade machine.
Or you can load your gog library full of classics.
New games are getting worse each year, it all about bait and switch money grabbing. Im playing older games lately even when i have very good PC. managed to build one before 2020 shitstorm.
@@CommanderTato Yep! Sure, modern AAA games have great graphics. But you have to spend a fortune to get a card that can play them. And then you get to beta test the game you paid for while they fix the bugs for the next 6-12 months. But at least they let you spend more money in-game while waiting for the bugs to be fixed! It's also great being able to play online against kids using cheats, since 99% of games now don't have any single player modes. The more "new" games you play, the more you appreciate the "old" games.
0:28 flipping sounds better than "ripping off some granny that knows bugger all about computers"
Love you work Bryan but jesus I hate the Gold Coast as a Brisbane guy but there seem to be so many cheaper and better deals down there.
The Dell 3770 Motherboard also has a different Pin Out for the CPU Fan, you have to switch around 2 of the wires to add an Aftermarket Cooler like I did because I didn't like the Stock Cooler on a 3770.
19:38 i swear those 120mm black CM fans are everywhere
Wow, so many good deals. Wish I lived in Australia so I could get some good deals.
For me, I'm looking for cases that still has 5.25 inch drive bays. There's a lot you can do with those stuff, Like chugging a USB-C port to basically turn an old school case to a more modern capable case. Although the market for 5.25 inch case is quite rare, but I felt people just don't really tap into its potential a lot. I have an LTO 5 tape drive that fits in the drive bay nicely and now backing up my video are never been more cheaper and easier, as quite many second hand LTO5 tapes can be pretty cheap if you can find business company chucking away their old tape vaults (which they had scratch out prior).
Just woke up, perfect timing :)
Managed to cram it all in to your Stinger GT? Nice.
Oh yeah love Channel bro good job
Those dell motherboards are pretty cool tbh. I have used a few of them now in builds and they are probably the cheapest boards that you can just order off of ebay for a 2nd or 3rd gen i5 build. Nothing proprietary just drop it into any case that supports micro atx.
Kenny Loggins reference was PURE GOLD XD
How’s the Stinger holding up? Older models after 12-24months were either expensive to repair / maintain or complete write off’s. Had family members spending $1k’sssss to keep theirs going and gave up in the end and traded in (with a massive loss)
I picked up a CS Storm case for a retro FX 8350 build I did running a RX 570 4gb card. Fun build 😁
hey Bryan! I just wanted to say that I managed to beat the scalpers and all the odds and got a 1070 for $200 usd!
Uh
Bro I picked up mine for a 150 two weeks ago but it didn't come with the heat sink and fans so it's a good thing I had the cracking g12 along with an EVGA water AIO cooler. So now it's running great I love it so far big step up from the GTX 970
@@flufy55 did you managed to cool the vrms in some way? Be careful.
I have thermal pads and heat sinks to cool them off
@@flufy55 do the case have good airflow? because people is obsessed with aios but they forget aios often only cool the core in this case the gpu chip not the rest of components.
For example on cpus they cool the cpu but the vrms are cooking themselves.
This channel is so underrated, No RTX stuff just simple
1080ti deal was worth the wait, looking forward to 1080ti build
Brian I think yes mobile need upgrade to suv or truck. Since keep getting more used pc left and right.
Thats good Brian that your getting the deals there isn't shit for deals in the US. PPL are trying to sell GTX 960 4GB from between $180 usd to $400 usd on FB!
Props for rocking a Kia Stinger ✌️👏
Brian you need a Tech YES truck for all that pc's :))
Friend of mine picked up a 32gb kit of tridentZ rgb 3200mhz ram for $165 AUD. Banger of a deal, in Brisbane also so very cool
22:16 spotted a cracking deal!!
worth every cent
Is it cost effective to use a riser cable for a GPU as part of an upgrade in those old 'business' PCs?- or do you just get a different case?
Picked up a GT 1030 GDDR5 for only 60 bucks a few months ago. The best deal I ever made
Just scored a 1080 Ti MSI triple fan yesterday for $400 so if you have the patience and good reputation in marketplace then it's really possible.
I saw the ram in the side compartment, and when you said still left over, I was like dude those will burning up the heat if you leave them in your car. Then my brain kicked in. lol
that cs storm case is really cool wish i could get one in my country
Just be ozzy mate keep it fresh and non fake
Just picked up a EVGA 1080 Ti FTW3 on eBay for $592.00. A steal on an $800 MSRP card that was over a $1000 six weeks ago.
Just a question, what do you do with all these PCs that you have picked up!! gr from Holland (The Netherlands)
Love the hp 4770 desktops, I run one with a low profile 1050ti and it does everything I want.
The Ryzen and A board was a great deal
the Yes Mobile vlog cam is lookin CRISPY
I have 2 budget gaming rigs built and ready, just missing GPUs, plus 4 more at various stages. Adelaide is a serious drought for GPUs at the mo, it's a nightmare!
I guess he is responsible for that shortage :P
You needa get a roof box for the stinger to hold all the dealz
12:39 beautiful view
What is the song played starting at 5:06? Nice vid as always man!
watching this on July 31 2022!
Hey Bryan I just want to know that do you give your customers some kind of warranties on used builds?
Like for a week or two.
usually 3 months.
Batman has Batarangs in the Bat Mobile, Yesman has Yes-a-rams in the Yes Mobile 😂
i really want that CM storm, had that case before and sold my computer.
A new vid? great Yes!
Nice stinger, My Fiesta ST doesn't hold quite as much lol
I was wondering does rx 570 rx 580 come up in your area ? or you skip them cuz its heavily used for mining ?.
lmfao i love this video , i never seen so many pcs in one car ! i wish i could do this haha its kinda funny !!! lol
Idk if it was brought up but the a520 doesnt support 1000 and 2000 series unless thats changed?
What CPU would u look around for to pair with the GTX 1080 ti?
still rocking my CM Storm Trooper case sice my fx cpu days then came a skylake and now my 9900k is inside, So brilliant u can even do 2 x120 on the side for GPU cooling and 1x 120 on the botttom so amazing temps end very quiet now that i modded a mesh on the from from a be quiet 900. Great case and looks better then the niormal cm storm case.
