- The Xiaomi Moaan W7 is one of the best digital note taking devices of 2020. You can take notes, convert handwriting to text and Android, will allow you to install your own apps. It has an entirely English UI, which makes this a very strong brand.

Thank you Peter for the review.
we have not seen the conversion application (pen to manuscript mode). A video to complete. Does it support the "Rakuten Kobo" application and can we surf the internet ?. Thank you
Anyone knows why the Inkbook was discontinued? I bought one years ago, and I want to get one for a friend but I am unable to find it anywhere!
How does it compare to remarkable 2?
Im obsessed with paper tablets but those price tags are scary
Don't worry, xiaomi will put in obnoxious ads in to their e-ink devices too, and lower the prices
@@oneplus1987 id love that 😂
Agree!
All Ereaders are overpriced. In same time are very useful and joying products
@@copshotakid5764 Just call their customer care and tell them every time an ad shows up the screen blinks non stop and you have to restart it or make up some other issues involving ads .They'll remove the ads. I did this with my kindle paper white works like a charm.
@@Estrelaaaaa The problem is e-ink holdings, they are a monopoly on a niche market, they got the biggest contract (amazon) . They don't have an incentive to innovate on breakneck pace or compete in cost. Sure, they are the inventors of the technology, and they can profit however they want, but at this point i think they digging their own hole, while other emerging technologies like oled go and dominate the market, thanks to a robust R&D and competition.
At this point, it is almost the same cost or even cheaper to get an amoled device instaed of a e-ink device.
Hey Bro Onyx Boox Nova 2 or Moaan W7?
They got the Ink Pad X with similar screen but has backlight. Please Source this and do a review
I think i like this better than the remarkable 2. Oogling over them even though I can't afford them. 😀... Btw how long does these nibs usually last? And is there diy nibs instead of buying them?
That's a nice device with p promising packed functionalities, not that ready for the UI but it's a good start
About $360(RMB2499) in China, discount to $280( RMB1999 ) Sometimes.
Great Video! Shoud I buy the likebook mars or kobo libra for reading text only?
Same doubt here??
@@rajaking1682 Mars has a better screen, but i heard that they are not very reliable over time... Really dont know
wow, the operation system has been changed. it was weird to oread PDF when this device was first released.
Hi! Great review thanks, but I have 3 questions, besides english, can you change the idiom to spanish (Includes the letter Ñ ?). Also can you put some sd card (or micro sd) and have the play store of google to download everything you want?
Hi Peter, similar question: Which languages overall are on there? Especially for text recognition?
For your detailed review: please check filing system, bookmarking, search (handwritten & typed text?), pdf annotation (to be shared with?). What can you sync your work to? Would Android's OneNote app work? Or can you save/share to it? Is it compatible with other pens like Wacoms? Does anyone have any idea what Xiami's update reputation and customer service are like? Thank you!
Why don't you write the size of the devices in the title and description? Is that a big secret?
Wow!!😍
hey everybody, What battery?
Goodereader, Can you make a review about Yoga book 930 E-ink device? or make compare with another E-ink device? I am looking for your advice for that.
Lenovo has a bunch of interesting laptops for 2020. Some LCD screen with Eink keyboard/PDF reader or eink on reverse side. The foldable X1 looks very promising (LCD) with separare physical keyboard. Doesn't exist, but I could be excited by an LCD, eink combo with separate keyboard... Or a foldable color eink laptop or tablet with separate keyboard.
Can OneNote be installed?
But can it be used as an external monitor? This is the killer feature to which I will throw down money for myself and sunny summer "Christmas" for my entire family!
The only thing I dislike about this channel is that they never say anything about the price and availability of the device 🤐 . Why ?
probably because the prices changes and it depends on your location but yeah much better if state the price range
because they want you visit their store / web page =))
@@leingodx 😂so true!
Lack eraser in the stylus is a big disadvantage. Also Chinese categories that should be translated to be competitive with other readers.
Price is comparable with other 10inches readers.
So I think other alternatives are much better.
It’s crazy how xiaomi does all sort of things nowadays!
9:39 my favorite part. Loved the design and functionality
They basically buy a lot of business in China.
Does Google play store work on it?
Did Xiaomi discontinue this device or are there any recent updates?
No it is still being sold
When will the DPT-RP1 Digital Paper Draw? 🙏
Nice device!
Nice
I thought I read moan and I had to check three times
Nah... For that price I think I would go with reMarkable 2. This one does look good and all, but I am not a fan of Android for this kind of tablets. The whole point of note taking eReaders is that they are supposed to have minimal UI with just the note taking and basic drawing features. If you need an AppStore, a web browser, write text with a keypad etc, I think a regular tablet like the Samsung Galaxy Tab would make much more sense.
Nice 👍👍👍
Get a Samsung tab s6 lite, can do way more and probably cheaper as well
That's a cute bird 😆 So how is Moaan and Xiaomi connected? 🤔
I believe it's just that Xiaomi financially backed Moann, but a translation error may have been involved in the "Xiaomi Moann" thing.
You can think of Xiaomi as a giant incubator, most of the non-cellphone products are actually produced by other companies backed by it, Moaan is just one of them.
This ereader sells for about 200 dollars in China
still feel like the likebook ares is better than this :D ... Am I right?
It's pronounced "sha O me" 😂
The amount of chinese words in a note taking device to be sold outside China should be ZERO. Why can't these companies understand?
they alway have global version for thier product
@@longnguyen8 This still has a lot of Chinese words baked in.
$480
Compares favorably to other note taking ereaders, but not exactly affordable. Not even close. Not for me anyway. yeet.
No Glolight at all, pass
pronounce it like : Shaq O me
It is a no go for me. Not a fan of this one. I guess there are better to buy. Your explanation is very good, but don’t like this Xiaomi W7.
Upon escaping the horrors contained in the house, the bird halted in his flight. As the strong wind ruffled his feathers, the bird couldn't help but stare widely at what was supposedly a leafy tree. He wonders if it was the scorching heat from such close sun uncovered by the drifting clouds that was frying his brain but the tree looked like it was sprouting a huge rock instead of soft greens.
This seems like a pretty terrible value compared to the Boox Note 2. For only $40 more the Boox has an 8 core processor vs 1 core, twice the RAM, Android 9 vs 8, more refresh modes, a better pen, and especially a fully English OS. I would stay far away from this one.
not completely translated? not a contender..
nah it's a no for xiaomi
great, more of your gay reviews. Keep up the gay work
nice - but slam dunked by new ipad 2020 (8 gen). Xiaomi need to work their magic to be in the race.
Haha. Comparing e-ink tablets to an ipad is apple to oranges.
@@beyondbased or oranges to Apple. :)
can you just review a legit device with full english plz? its kinda annoying you know. Its like getting a fake iphone from chine for 50 $ obviously it will not be the same..
Great! Another chinese spyware
