  • The refreshed Mazda 2 for 2020 now comes with GVC Plus, in addition to a new front and taillights at the rear.
Mechanically it remains the same - we take it for a mixed drive in the Klang Valley and also give it a bit of a consumption test.

Uncle is reviewing the car in "normal" mode but I can see his temptation for paddle shift or sports mode!! Great review, as always! 👍

Both are great cars, so the choice would be tough: I suppose in the end it would be a choice of either a 6-speed auto or a cvt. Or i-vtec versus SkyActiv.

This car was priced at 80k with bells and whistles before they facelift it and man... It was a real bargain. The moment it goes to 100k plus, u rather take a low spec civic, x70 or so. I get mazfa is bringing up their brand to premium, but THIS car internal and external is same since 2016,basically a old car eady.

Everything is perfect with the Mazda 2 except for the exterior design. Mazda 2 front and back is seriously ugly.
For Japanese hatchback, the Jazz and Yaris still has better design.
Uncle, you should try the City Hybrid Sports Mode (137hp with 170nm). Oh ya, the City Hyrid also comes with 7 speed dual clutch and paddle shifters :-)
