    Ok I figured out the RGB sync to motherboard cable for anyone who wants to know. Connect the 4 pin addressable RGB cable to your motherboard and plug the other end into the case fan cable that is labeled "Main". You will need to unplug that cable from the top case button that allows you to change colours, this button will no longer work as your motherboard is now syncing the colours. Also make sure to unplug the SATA cable.

    Hi I am building my first pc in this case and I have figured out how to get the fans to spin but I am completely lost on the RGB cables. Where does the extra cable in the plastic bag plug into if it is needed? The motherboard I have is a Gigabyte Aorus b550 Elite ax v2. I have probably spent around 2 hours on all these cables and I don't want to spend even more time on it... Please help if you can.

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  Před 2 lety

      Sorry for late reply been a long day at work, so there is a SATA Power Cable from the case that needs to be plugged into your PSU Sata Connector cable. After this ensure the Addressable RGB Cable goes into the ARGB Header on your MB ensuring the arrow from the VDG/ARGB Cable is on the side where it says 5V so it's powered correctly. Gigabyte's software isn't that great so getting the colors working with software can be problematic so if that doesn't work I'd use the case or if possible in the BIOS it'll let you set a solid color to be used. It will depend on the MB though. Remember that there are two different ARGB Cables from the case and you only need to use one of them, in your situation using a Gigabyte MB the VDG cable is the one you want to use. Hope that helps.

    Hello. I need to connect fans to the board to make them spin. There is a 4-pin wire from the fans, but my board has only one 3-pin connector. Can I connect there? Board - Asrock h61M VG3

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  Před 2 lety +1

      As long as your connecting to a System Fan Header, you just need to line up the tabs from both the MB and Fan connector and it'll work. However only use 3 fans max or it could short out the Fan Header.

    I have this PC case for over a year now. Overall it's good. But there are a few cons - airflow without adding all coolers (front, top and back) will not be very good, and thin metal at the top is causing a vibration that results in additional "non-quality" noise - this can be fixed with a simple hack, but it would be better if it was good out of the box.

      Ya I wish the case had front mesh but since I bought it as a prebuilt I didn't have much choice. My personal janky solution - leave the side glass panel off for more airflow. I know not ideal but for me it works. :)

      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  Před 2 lety

      At 8:01 in the video I show taking off the Front Panel, it does take a fair bit of pressure to remove. If yours is a prebuilt it could be possible they did something to make taking it off harder but can't say for certain. You could look inside the front, there are 6 spots that should be plastic and you could squeeze them a little and each one will loosen to help remove it. Hope that helps.

      So you can use your Motherboard Manufacturer's Software to control the RGB, if for some reason that's not working an alternative that others have found helped a lot is a program called Signal RGB it will recognize all your devices regardless of Manufacturer.

    Hi Dennis! My case fan lights are working, but the fans are not spinning/reading in bios. I recently changed motherboards from an Asus(never had problems) to an ASRock. Everything looks to be plugged in right, and the fan cables are daisy chained to one main line to the power supply(although I do not see any 3 prong cable to connect to the MB)
    Do you know what might be the issue?

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  Před 9 měsíci +1

      If the fans are not spinning, check that the Fan Hub for the case is plugged into the Motherboard, there is one cable that come off the hub that needs to go to the MB in order to power the fans.

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM

      If the rear exhaust fan is connected to a hub, or maybe even if it isn't you could try unplug and plug into the SYS_FAN 2 fan header on your motherboard, and then make adjustments for the fan curve independent from the other fans, also check in the BIOS for any settings that might help. You may need to change the SYS_FAN 2 fan header to DC mode also if it is only a three pin fan. Had to search this one up as I haven't encountered it before. Hope it might help some.

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  Před 2 lety

      As long as your Fans go into a Fan Header there should be no reason to get damage. The damage could result from using the wrong ARGB Header, to know which one of those is correct if there is a 3 Pin it's ARGB 5V that it needs to go into and ensure the arrow matches the left side where it says 5V. Same is true if its a 4 Pin in that case it's RGB 12V and therefore you want to plug it into a 4 Pin 12V RGB Header arrow to the same side as where it says 12V.

    • @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
      @Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM  Před 2 lety

      The fans all connect in the back, there is however one end that goes to the Motherboard, and the cable they include that should plug into the MB will not connect to the cabling anywhere that I could find, I suspect it needs a separate cable. So I used the SATA Power cable and plugged it into the Power Supply SATA connector. So then I used the LED button on top to changed colors but was still able to make changes using MSI Dragon Center but that will depend on your specific MB software to do that and the Corsair Software for the the Ram. So in short, 1 MB Fan cable to MB and the SATA Power Cable both connected.
