Sir if we shift from Mechanical/Civil towards coding, what are our oppurtunities if we are really good at coding? Do we get the same oppurtunities as that of computer science engineers? And if we do M.Tech from CSE after doing B.Tech from Civil/Mechanical, will there be any difference in our oppurtunities than those doing B.Tech and M.Tech both from CSE?
No, you don't get similar opportunities. You may try coding opportunities in Mechanical engg areas. You will grow more there.
The job opportunity in any domain depends on two things. Supply and Demand. As there is still more number of jobs available in IT sector compare to number of candidates (it still amazes me somehow 😃😃) so it didn't matter from which domain are you from. If you got SKILLS you can get into IT sector.
Even FAANG/MAANG companies didn't have barrier of certain degree for their jobs, provided one have SKILLS and most importantly have a bit of experience/portfolio to support it.
My question is also same but Should we do m tech in Mechanical after doing B tech in CSE
