Great video! Thanks so much! I’m currently working towards paying off my home equity loan ($18,149. left to go), while also working on my Emergency Fund for myself and a second Emergency Fund for my dogs. My EF is at $140. My goal is $6,000. My Dog EF is at $1,000. My goal is $2,000. I was getting impatient with my progress so I picked up a 2nd job. I put 100% of that pay check each week towards my 3 top goals. I’m having fun watching those balances moving in the right direction faster 😊✌🏻
I'm getting impatient with my goals as well. I haven't been able to get a second job, though.
Great video! I tried one goal and I had anxiety because I wasn't funding other goals! 😂 I also prefer to have multiple goals because it helps me save way more money. I might focus a little harder on one than another depending on my pay and what's happening in my life! My current financial goals are maxing out my Roth (7k), funding my *ever sinking* sinking funds 🤣, adding more to my emergency fund and focusing on saving for an investment property.
My goal for 2023: to reach 10k of emergency fund and keep saving to invest. It's going to be challenging because my second child is coming and babies 🤱 are always "expensive " Lol 😂 but I feel very blessed and happy with my situation. ❤ take care Leila! I love your videos.
2023 goals! Maxed out Roth IRA and HSA. Build up emergency fund, and car down payment.
This is SO relevant for me right now, saving for a big (£10k) home improvement but I’m not comfortable to spend that at the moment with the economy. Really helpful to get s bigger picture perspective on all my goals!

2023 my biggest goal is to save a house down payment so I can buy in early 2024
As you know, mine is kind of a race against you. Similar amount to save, similar balance so far, and a 2023 mid of the year deadline to complete it. I now summarize 24.5k. Now you must catch up! Let's go together to the 35k mark.
I just transferred $100 because of your comment 😂 so I'm at $23.7, I don't think I'll be able to get to $24.5 this month. However, I think in December I may be able to get to $26.5 🤞🏻
