I believe he may be German due to his appearance aswell as his overly basic last name, many German migrants had their names completely changed to overly simple American names Also, Rockstar seemed to be going for a very particular kind of joke with Gary, with his halloween costume being an SS uniform aswell as much of his idle dialouge mirroring Nazi ideology
@@Seagullablehere in Europe Smith is a common english surname and i dont see Eunice Pound as a german..maybe american with greek or british heritage..you forgot to add mr Luntz and italian barber as german and italian origins. Hal esposito is definitely italian... esposito is a common neapolitan surname, not spanish 😐. There are some of these that are totally wrong.
I'm pretty sure Hal is of Italian origin, not Spanish. Esposito is one of the most common surnames in southern Italy (Napoli) and it's technically a "fake surname". It was a surname given to abandoned children back in the old OLD days ("esposito" basically meant "exposed"), and considering Hal's insecurity and emotional issues, I think the reference to orphans is pretty much obvious.
Why Tom Gurney and Gurney the Townie russians? First, Gurney is English (or Scotish) last name. Second, Tom speaks with thick Brooklyn accent and Gurney the Townie speaks with faint southern accent.
@@Seagullable Nationality would refer to the country in which one is a citizen and has such rights and privileges. Ethnicity refers to a group of people who share a common history and culture, and their ancestry is their background-where their ancestors were from.
Tbh you'd think so, however, Italian and Hispanic names are extremely similar and dialouge implys he grew up in New Coventry alongside the Greasers; meaning its far more likely he is Italian
Based on his last name and his appearance, I believe he may be of Scottish descent. The characters in "Caucasian American" are characters with no discernable country of origin based on context clues

Are those their nationalities or their ancestries? If you say nationalities, then they either have dual nationalities or were born outside the U.S.
To be completely fair, it's their ethnicities. Most of the characters are from the US but have different ethnic backgrounds. English error on my part
