you know i have never been into Balfour, i was always put off by the water-logged 4x4 track. I notice there's a place for sale down there at the moment :D the next Flick-It shack? lol
I always skipped it also, I was either on the heavily loaded Dominator or Tenere, or passing by on a different mission... I think 2011 I poked the nose of the Dominator in there but the track was one long water hole so I backed out.... The track from the Western Explorer in to Balfour is surprisingly good now, you could go in there on a road bike or soft-4x4, well worth a visit, so much to see.. (I only included a couple of things in this teaser vid, I'll edit up something better when I get home... There's a couple of nice shacks in there, and another being built...
Was there in 2016. Turned up at dusk saw a raging fire going in the fireplace. Then as i was pulling up two people in what looked like identical trench coats where walking away from me easterly down the track. I thought it strange that they didnt look back at me or aknowledge that i was there at all even though my headlights were on and shining down the track that they were on. I felt very uneasy about that so i high tailed it out of there and camped on the coast that night. Do you know or heard of the place being haunted???
@@FLICKIT Well, see, it's just a crusty gnome. If it were _the_ crusty gnome, I would be going berserk at the disrespect (no bowing seen). Also that's not a troll-hole, it's the entrance to Billie's house, who is a shell-sprite. You need a special password to get in though (I know it 😏). Though you have noted the troll-proxy places just for me, Bromilda the Lesser, you should evenrually find the little telephone box near that track in the, uh, scrubby place up the faraway tree, to ask for the deets, like the password to Billie or even Sharon's abode. This is not a red herring, it's a black jay who's been feeding me the best info.

That's strange.. I haven't heard of anything odd down there, some shack owners in places like that tend to be a bit funny though, lol ...
