The information about Deadpool for those who didnt collect the trading cards comes from 1992 Impel X-Men #43 Deadpool. During that time a lot of the origins and backgrounds of heroes and villians were not defined yet. Deadpool was a villian and a new character at the time.
It looks great and that cardback makes me want it more.
This is the Deadpool from my childhood, the comics and from my trading cards!
Thank goodness it's been re-released because I got mine early from a store that kept these in stock. I'm so happy to have this as my ONLY Deadpool in my X-Men men collection!

This body mould is one of my favorites. I would pick this up to keep it MOC since I have he original and the packaging design is pretty cool.

Cardback is great. Paint seems great. So many dead pools
Much more interested in this than in the two-pack one. I kind of dig the slate blue replacing the black. I don't think they've topped the Juggernaut wave DP yet (why no unmasked or half-masked head with this one or the Sasquatch wave one?) but the Sasquatch wave DP's articulation eventually won me over to it, and this is a decent variant. I'm also a sucker for the retro carded figures overall.

As much as I love deadpool, I think that it's better to make figures of other unreleased characters. BMarvel has a plethora of characters that have yet to get the action figure treatment. Quasar has never been released as a 6 inch figure. Thunderstrike, Firelord, Nova(herald) , the Air Walker, Morg, Gorgon, Karnak, Groton, Crystal, The Eternals, the U-Foes, Starhawk, Her, Nimrod, Vulcan, updated comic book Ronan the Accuser, the Stranger, comic book Nebula, Dragon Man baf, Joe Fixit, Smart Hulk with the big gun and Bunny slippers, The Watcher, Zeus, the Warriors Three, Balder the brave, Namorita and the rest of the unreleased New Warriors to name a few.

Whatup McU. The bio stating his name is "classified" is because when he 1st appeared (and of course during subsequent appearances back then) his name WAS unknown (I think Cable possibly called him "Wade" in his 1st appearance, but that's about it). Deadpool was pretty much like Wolverine when he 1st appeared (name unknown, no indication of a healing factor, Canadian etc), plus he wasn't the clown we now know (and love?!?!).

I bought that same Deadpool figure today at GameStop and it was the last one and I paid 31 bucks for him
Great figure. The classic one looks a little better but it still looks amazing.This year exclusives are too good lol. They're hard to find so it was sad for me to pass on them. Emma Frost,Agent Anti Venom and Love triangle 3-pack all too good to be exclusives lol.

Exclusives I always have a problem with, especially convention ones when they are sold by secondary sites for $$$.
It's already available on Entertainment Earth for $24.99.

The katanas are still too short for me personally
That's how they were on Deadpool's first appearance on the comics through the 90s until at some point later on decided to give him proper long katanas.
I know, just don't like it personally

Sasquatch wave looks way better and that style Deadpool doesn't need guns lol. the katanas are all I pose him with

It’s definitely a decent figure, the one we should have gotten originally. I’m still confused as to why Hasbro would have given him two ammo belts, instead of the holster (Nick Fury, Scourge), when they give him three guns. 🤷🏻♂️
Because it is based in the early arts of Deadpool which looked that way. Another thing that you may find in the early drawings was that he would have the swords in the back sheath but they did not have any straps or belt to hold the back sheath, I guess that is why they painted it in red
Pass! The Mafex and Mezco Have the best Red Deadpool’s in my opinion. And Marvel Legends Grey Pool is Awesome. I do not thing I need any others.

Yes this is a better improvement not a Deadpool without guns. Want two for one reason so don't have to switch hands from guns to swords, if he holds the guns for a while he wont have a secure grip on the swords!

Right now in 2022 this is one of the least expensive deadpool figures.
Wow, I hate the blue. Why blue? I don't remember him ever having that color with this outfit.
Shading in comic book art uses blue over black. This gives it that effect
Deadpool, spiderman and wolverine are all overkill now too many releases. So many good characters haven't has a single release. I mean got the while marvel zombie catalogue they can take into could even have dropped it for Halloween.

I dont like these "new retro boxes" at all, its making it hard to buy any wave in them....i wanted silver samuri and dazzler but i hate those boxes so i left them on the shelf in disgust. i hope they stop the fad, its not as collector friendly.
@312vandal If you open it, and later someone wanted to buy it from you and they really wanted the box its ruined unlike the normal boxes. Were is your logic? The nornal boxes are "collector friendly": meaning you can open without desyroying the box. just because you are forced to buy two to open one is not "collector freindly" its just more money for the company.. if your local store only gets 6 and a scalper buys 5 with good paint jobs to sell on ebay: You end up with the last 1 with bad paint job/damaged box that you're scared to open! You must be new to this here "figga game" or a simpleton. Lol
