Le run le + magique de cette année, à part la chute, Théo a roulé magistralement. Remonter P12 après avoir chuter entre P50 et P100 (au moins). L'année prochaine il remet ça, sans la chute, y'a moyen LARGE de jouer le podium 😉
La chute au départ est bien malheureux pour toi bien sûr, mais il n'y a rien de tel pour nous, les spectateurs. Quelle rémonte! Spectaculaire, super fort. Je vais croiser les doigts pour toi pour Mégavalanche. Au moins t'as pu garder le vélo avec toi. Contrairement au pauvre mec sur la montagne dans la neige. On le voit dans tous les vidéos sur le MOH2023. Il cherche probablement toujours ^^

There are 650+ riders in this race - at no point was Galy LAST - started at the front after qualifying 10th in round 1 - the crash dropped him back to ~100th, but only cost him ~12 seconds without the crash its likely he would only have finished 7th. Still impressive he overtook ~80 riders.
It cost him way more than 12 seconds, as you don't only count the time it took to get back on the bike, but the time to get back up to speed and also the amount of time he was held up behind riders he otherwise would have been in front of had he not crashed.

I wonder if it wouldn't have been an advantage to ride a Fatty on this run? It certainly would have been faster on the soft snow during the first 6 or so minutes. Whether you could have gained enough time to make up for the disadvantage on the single-track in the lower portions of the run, I don't know. But I think it might.
