I feel Amitabh s acting really to bring the emotion on screen and Kishore to bring that emotion much before the shooting is just amazing. The visual with song is complete similar to Manzilen apni jagah hai in Sharabi...just hearing is not enough to connect and visual representation gives you the feeling that you are into that song on own as if it is your story.

@@arjunb80 I am not saying stealing is good but I am only saying that after taking a part of a tune he improvised the rest part of the song and I liked it and you know most of the times tune taken by him were actually beacause producers wanted ya actor of that song liked that english song , this was also there like jahan teri yeh nazar hain was copied because amitabh bacchan wanted tune of heli maali song and mehbooba mehbooba ka mukhda copied tha because ramesh sippy's wife liked 'say you love me' song and then later it was revealed that say you love me was also not original, we cant do anything, no music director is original, we can just listen to there songs as after copying also there is a lot changes and arrangement that are done to the song and also the original compositions of RD burman were great so we can appreciate that also like tere bina zindagi se koi shikwa, yeh dosti hum nhi todenge, dum maaro dum, musafir hoon yaaron, ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga, kuch na kaho, phholon ka taaron ka sabka kehna hain, o mere sona re, sagar jaisi aankhon wali, karwante badalte rahe, jai jai shiv shankar, zindagi ke safar mein guzar jaate hain, pal do pal ka saath humara, chingari kkoi bhadke, kuch toh log kahenge, o mere dil ke chain, chala jaata hoon , mein benaam hogaya, koi pardesi aaya pardes mein, humein tumse pyaar kitna, yeh shaam mastani, pyar deewana hota hain, tu tu hain wahi, aapki ankhon mein kuch beheke hue se naaz hain, tere bina jiya jaye na, hum dono do premi, ek ajnabee haseena se yun mulakat hogayi, yaadon ki baarat, also chura liya hain tumne jo dilko mein first 2 lines chodke baaki unki compositon hain jo original kai zyada achi hain also the unique rythms of his songs, this is the positive side if RD Burman, so we can criticise him for copying jo ki almost har music director ne kari hain and we also thank RD for such beautiful songs.
@@panchamsmagic2868 I can add some more of his original compositions to your list, but that is not the point. The point is he often used stuff created by others without acknowledging it fair and square. That amounts to thievery. It is known that he was at times asked by people such as film directors to copy tunes, as you said, but he being R.D. - a biggie by himself, could have and should have said no. That is where the question of principle comes in. If he had only created his original tunes, he would still be just as big and as loved because the list of his originals is great as it is. He really had no need to plagiarize just because someone wanted him to. But he did not object. Even after copying tunes, had he said they were "inspired" and gave credit to the original sources, the popularity of his songs would have been no less, plus people would have probably respected him more for being honest. He did not do that either.
I can understand stealing out of need. A hungry man would steal food, a needy money. A talentless person like Pritam would have to steal all of his tunes. But someone with talent does not need to stoop to it. And stealing someone's idea is the worst form of the act. It cannot be condoned by altering a few details, when the bulk of the stuff is lifted.
I still listen to R.D., of course. But it just does not sound that gratifying anymore.
