In the era of the Angry young man this is the best non action film I have seen of him. He was too good in this movie and the two solo songs of Kishore were just out of the world.
Well if u look carefully he is the only actor who did sober movies along with angry man or masala movies parallel. That too during his peak days...Remember Saudagar, Mili, Abhiman, Chupke Chupke, Manjil, Alaap..Silsila etc. All classic in true sense. In 70s he did all these movies in Parallel. It was 80s when he almost got commercial and made masala movies mainly. This is why he is perhaps the only star actor here.
