I T4ed Sue as soon as the update dropped and she’s getting kind of destroyed in PvP with a mighty authority. If she is better in PVE, I wouldn’t mind switching the build. I really hope she isn’t tied to Franklin for PVP cause I am not paying for that though it seems that might be the case :(

Uh… dmm was obtainable in special mission challenges iirc (old dimension mission) and Odin in the last chapter of the old story mode. They lazily got moved to being just crystal wall characters when their game modes got axed. Blue marvel and the ultimates though… entirely different story

@max81261 yeah I think u needed to clear a certain amount of those missions with the hidden route like with the hidden tickets
40$ for a toon. This goes against the basic principle of the game which has been existing for over 9 years. If we shut up and accept this just because it's an irrelevant toon, then in 5 years they'll be releasing pvp meta Galactus for 40$ (like they did with summer uniforms , Storm Rogue Luna).
We don't need a massive boycott or anything, just don't buy the Franklin pack and show your disapproval of the system.

Tbh im not that bothered whether updates are good or not. If the updates are good, then yay i am motivated to grind and build characters, and if its not as good, then i can just carry on and do my dailies. I feel if you invest too much emotionally into games like these, its just not really worth it, since its meant to just be a simple game you play on the side.
Honestly, if they had made the bonus pack buyable with crystals, I probably would have bought the Groot chest and some other crystal stuff to make sure I had the crystals for it. But $40? Nah, I'll buy the Elden Ring DLC and I'm reconsidering how much I want to play this in the future.
They lost me at new growth system. Just five or ten more minutes of heartless grinding every day. Painful to even think about it.

One other thing I want to mention that I really liked, is that this type of content can actually drop some references and they can use it as teases for future updates to get us excited, like how they name-dropped the Negative Zone and Super Skrull here.
It is a skip for me since I am waiting for Wolverine and Deadpool or x men 97 update moreover this update will have potential only if they give dr doom a uniform and t4
One way I can see them fixing MS is make it crystal cost in the next update. Like they do with collection tokens taking an update to be added into abxl reward pool. Otherwise it just creates a further divide in the player base
Multiverse saga feel like the devs took epic quests and tripled the greed meter, making it cost a lot more and paywall, while simplifying it so they have less work and can crank them out at a higher rate. It could have been nice, but they completely botched it.
Okay, I watched the Livestream, and it has given me mixed opinions. FIRST of all, in regards for the uniforms, I haven't bought them yet, but regardless of their performance, it has become a habit that I will buy the new uniforms for Tier 4 characters. NOW, for the new characters, Valeria, she is farmable in the Multiverse Saga, take your time, you will get her Trancended. BUT, for Franklin Richards, it is like they are somewhat or really forcing you to spend money to get the Franklin Pack, for you to farm his biometrics daily, I mean sure you can get him on Dimension Mission Chest, but you'll have to waste tickets that you are planning to save up for the characters you want, especially if Franklin gets a uniform. I for one, might be forced to buy it after all, since I highly doubt that they would make the pack purchasable for crystals, because those who have already spend their money on buying the Franklin Pack, will get triggered, mad, or somewhere along the line riot, so I don't see the developers doing that. They have already made their mistake, but I am willing to wait for the August Summer Event Update, because I am more focused on getting Luna Snow's Summer Uniform.
I guess fantastic 4 will have an update next year too due to the film
I like the design of a lot of what's actually in the update.. The new characters have fun design ideas, two of my favourite characters got new uniforms, and the mission themselves are fun...
...but the €40 paywall locking entire rewards behind it is just absolute BS. There's no reason this couldn't be a crystal pavement.

Another thing is that f2p boss fights have 8 emblems that might drop. The paid b9ss has different ones that f2p can't have. That's not even all 23 spiderman emblems. How do the f2p's get the ironman ones and the shield ones? So, "fun collecting" is just NOT an option. No way to complete the emblems over time with grinding. Gambling only.

So after 7 days you are done with the new content other than clear ticketing the final battle. That’s a lot of work into the game mode for 7 days.
It reminds me of the original story mode when the game launched, but you built your characters up through that. It was fun back in those days.
Thier is no fun of collecting the emblem, first I have to wait for a week after the update then start collecting!!!

Slept pass the update and woke up to find the saga is just cut scenes. Upgraded Valeria tho... Will go for her potential today
All the Spiderman emblems are for timeline battle, and all the Iron man emblems are for world boss, so just collect and upgrade those emblems, and all the Sheld emblems are just for dimension rift. I checked it on my game account.
Well, at least they gave us an opportunity to save up for the next update. Deadpool and Wolverine baby!!!
Here in Brazil this pack is extremely expensive. It actually feels bad to see it
Multiverse Saga has interesting few missions but Epic Quest for me is still better in first playthrough.
Cutscenes feel like Legendary Battle.
For me, the epic quest research is better than the waiting time in multiverse saga, it costs almost the same amount of time but at least with research I can actually play the game not leave it and just wait until tmr
they're starting at $40 but like epic quests starting at 6.6k for the deluxe. that $40 is gonna go higher for the next ones.
When i say i literally can't play the game, would be the biggest understatement of the century, any tab that i open, any game mode i go to immediately hard crashes my game, I've been trying to get my dailies since the update dropped, and I've crashed every danm time i tried, i can't even que up to a gbr run or do my timeline runs, fuck this game, this is unacceptable

Multiverse in a nutshell is a revised version of Heroic Quest done in a way to try and captivate interest and otherwise allow them the opportunity to make money where HQ was no good for either. It plays like an old SNES game and is boring imo
or at least beneath modern game developers abilities. It is not the first attempt in recent times to make a "new game"
to try and hook existing players into spending more money.
Does it have potential? Sure. The problem with that is they seem to rarely follow through on potential. They get interested and make content for modes and some point they stop and move on to something else and leave everyone in the lurch.
I will remain of the opinion they should focus more on improving and optimizing the content they already have instead
of these attempts to try and make a new game which appear to distract them from doing it. Players log in to play the
game that already exists. World Boss, Giant Boss, Timeline, Epic Quests (just make a difficulty scale that increases the rewards) what have you. Provide improvements there and if need be
more opportunities to charge money.
What do I see in the comments? "When will Character X get Y?" "When will This be fixed?" "When will This Item be available?"
All pertain to the existing game. None pertain to "Hey, can we get a different game to play and spend money on?" No. Players wanted an Event that was set up as usual and thought with F4 they were getting it. Netmarble impresses me as unorthodox and it's weird because I know they have the right background and educations in this stuff.
Else. The improved UI is okay. As predicted system stability was sort of improved yet they caused more bugs. I won't be surprised if there is a patch soon. F4 content just seems going rate and as expected too the more costly the character the better they are. Namely Franklin and Sue Storm are better. I don't have anything complicated to say for them.
I see "new players"? I don't think so. Last I checked they weren't expanding at a great rate. I think more the focus is on
the existing ones and just getting more of their time and money. The theme, which I looked around and noticed was not
advertised around the web, is a good sign of it. If the interest is in brining new people in you do not use *checks* Crystal
and Maximus, characters who the comics barely even acknowledge anymore. You use X-Men 97. You use Deadpool. Spider-Verse. Popular things that people who never tried Future Fight might be interested in. So no. This is just a grab to get money from whales.
And regardless of the desire to collect stuff this is still a licensed franchise based product and thus driven by interest in the characters. Truth is Franklin and Val are not very popular characters. Short lived maybe and only to a small percentage of persons who would have subscribed to that comic book (Future Foundation more or less) but otherwise are not something that will hook a lot of people nor are they popular in a modern sense, see Crystal again. Not like say Loki that is coming hot off a Disney+ show or Wanda.
Potential again sure. But this is a long running game and it should not reverting to year 1 or need to be in a development state.
Also again this mode is a replacement for a mode that like most they refused to expand the potential of and otherwise appeared to lose interest in over time and left to collect dust. It's bad form and otherwise I do not feel captivated by this mode.
As far as cutscenes. Yeah. They are nice. I have background and I can see whoever is doing this has cinema experience because that is present in the cutscenes. That said while cutscenes are nice to look at they do not sell games.
Seriously makes me not want to play anymore. Definitely don't want to spend anymore.

On chapter 4/5 you get bios for Franklin not sure if you have to pay for that because the first 2 chapters you get 1-1 through 1-5 and 2-1 through 2-5 for free so if that stays the same we should be able to get him for free

Watch in the near future when they remember they forgot to give the option to buy the new epic quest for 3000 crystals then add that option after sooo many people spent $40 in order to acquire it.

Glad to see the community is being realistic about this. Even AAA games haven't hit $40 for DLC/expansions! Clearly, success seems to drive devs insane as much as losses do.
I mean it used to be infuriating that they think buying CTP packs or Material packs were justified in being priced so high, but at least those materials could be farmed for free in the game, and was just a shortcut for impatient whales to expedite that process. This is just insane.

I still have the bad taste of the overpriced Madelyne Pryor Epic Quest in my mouth. I don't mind spending on the game, but $40 for a transcended character? And release new content on a timer that most players can't even start to play until the next day? How does that make sense?
It's a bad way to introduce this system. It makes me wonder how often these will come up. Spending $40 every time a story comes around doesn't sound very appealing.
There should be a crystal pay option at least.

The thing is, all new characters are either T3 or transcended, not T4. If a character can't go to T4, at this point it's not going to be strong enough to be meta, only as a support at best

The problem here is really the price tag. The actual Multiverse Saga was great and was prob a lot of work on their part. But the 40$ and no crystal option is way overpriced and they need to fix that. Also, all the emblems need to be accessible for FTP players if not already
Personally, I have sufficient financial means at the moment and I purchased the expansion pack for the new game mode, but I realize how greedy the devs have been, not everyone can afford to spend certain amounts and the difference between those who buy the pack and who doesn't is colossal.
Unfortunately I am nobody to be able to start a boycott, I could only publish some hashtags or some comments but I would have liked you youtubers to notice the problem first in order to start a popular action immediately after the livestream, but none of you really did something and now here we are.

Franklin Pack should have been with both crystal and $ to be honest just like other deluxe packs so everyone can access the game mode fully. Only accessible with money was not a good idea in my opinion.

I'm not sure why some pay-wall characters is a bad thing especially if they are not pay-to-win. Many console games have pay or subscription only characters or levels.
It's very sad to this. It's cool and all talking about cut scenes as if in any universe they are worth 40$ because this will set a precedence for further more expensive content.

They made a massive mistake with this update. The content should have been free. As they can make money from the Wales gambling. Spenders having 75 fights headstart is just a joke. I want to collect the emblems and build them up over time. But I can't get onboard with this £40 no!. Now the update is sour. Take out the 1000k crystals and then sell Franklin for 10 bucks like all other bio subs toons.

As F2P who pressed "skip", those first clears leave you with nothing to do apart from 1 stage. Little actual gameplay unless paying and no replay value.
There the crystals that you farm... cost actual cash to collect.
