This video makes such common sense. The way you talk is very polite and it is evident that you have a clear idea on how to live your life and how to make use of your available resources in a very wise and fair manner by respecting everyone.

You just nailed it! All points put forward correctly. I can totally relate to all the points why I would continue living here. I haven’t come across such an unbiased yet strongly opinionated video. You have put together all valid points that I have personally experienced being in North America for almost a decade. Very well conceptualised 👏

In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world.
There are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions and the various other benefits, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia.
Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.

Hi Salil - I have been watching a few of your videos. I find them genuine and informative. Thank you. I'm also a fellow RCIC. I'm an Indian-born Canadian and have lived in Canada with my family for over 23 years. Quite honestly, even we as a family have been contemplating if a move back to India may be worth the while. But then we decided not to keeping in mind our children's mental health and so many of the reasons you talked about in this video. It makes a lot of sense. Anyway, I wanted to drop in a line and thank you for sharing your views. Good luck with everything!

Being an immigration consultant its obvious of u praising Canada as it brings business for you and you are only bothered abt that. The points you are talking abt is are only onside. Talk abt struggle in the 6 months of winter as well and thats why you go mad when its summer because u hv spent 6 months inside your house. Nothing is free. Med is a nightmare. I hv spent more than 1 year in Canada recently. Its no way close to the hype people like you have created for your benefit

I don't understand why you left India if you had a good life there, it didn't quite make sense. Furthermore, you stayed till you got your citizenship here. Instead of saying why you should leave Canada, maybe you could look for ways to help improve "your" country.

Well said about Canada. But the UAE is exception to all.
UAE is hotter in summer only. But again...every single nook and corner is covered with air condition where you do not feel that it is summer. If you see the global climate change...UAE is becoming better and better ...year by year...the winter in UAE is like...people will die to stay during the winter in the UAE because of the light snowfall in some part of the country or neighboring countries [KSA, Oman] and lovely, chilly, windy winter across all the county for almost 5 months.
Infrastructure is amazing...every single individual is insured by the employer. Zero corruption, emergency response is amazing than any part of the world. Safety and surveillance can not come even an inch closer compared with any developed nation...Most importantly, you are always connected from India since it is within the proximity...just 2 hours and few minutes flight from the UAE. In a nutshell...UAE is amazing place to live for any single individual irrespective of their religion...minus permanent status...but again you have got options of 10 years residency.

I have a question as a retired professional senior.
Not that I personally would leave, but understand why many wish to retire in another country. This is not our Canada and why would this PM wish to punish seniors, who have earned and worked hard their whole lives, bought and paid for their homes, help support the economy and now by this unbelievably entitled, arrogant man, be told we are " greedy" and should even go back to work??? Now, NOW he is punishing us more by making us pay another $25,000 if we wish to leave because we cannot afford to live in retirement here...???
We paid our taxes, worked diligently and even put money ourselves towards our retirement ( many going without luxuries to do so)...not expecting our savings to be victim of deflation!!!!
I know it would be a horrendous task to fill the deficit and unfortunately the damage done by him and his government, but to treat seniors with such flippancy and disrespect is unconscionable!

Why would you want to pay taxes and not get any services? Why would you want to deal with the raising drug addiction rates and crime? Why would you want your children endocrined in the failing school system? Why would you want to be a scapegoat to local Canadians blaming you and your children for a failing social system and housing crisis. Canada is getting stupid and it won't stop for the next ten years. A lot people are heading to the United States or Mexico. Good for you for being a good father but I hope your children pick good friends because we have a problem with our children and peer pressure and bad influence of bad friends.

The people you speak of have their own areas where they can do their own thing. You're not trying to live there are you? They would not allow you to. You're not trying to create anything from scratch - like my ancestors did - either, are you? No, you covet what my people created. You want to take what you failed to make. I'll tell you the same thing those other nations will tell you. You're not my kind, and don't belong with my kind. No rhetoric is going to change that.

@@georgedurrant1766 so what you are saying is your ancestors wanted to live in wilderness and that is the reason they colonised Canada? They were just looking for a better life, and they hit the jackpot of this huge resource house for so many less people. Your argument regarding how we are changing Canada, they are real people who actually changed Canada, by changing I mean, clearing the local population, imposing your culture on them, your government on them, we are not changing anything, we are following your rules, we are not forming a different government, we are not killing you guys, whereas you did all the above bad things when u came as guests.

Hi Sahil, can you please explain me and everyone how dental is free and covered in canada? I have been living in canada for last 10 years as a PR and I know ins and outs of canadian medical system, I think yu are giving some exaggerated and highly false information about canadian medical system with the term as free medicals ( Its not all free) In my view its highly pathetic and overated and not at all free at all. Dental is only covered if you have a extended medical insurance , and that too only if you have a good job and your company covers it and still you neeed to shell out a part of the premium from your each salary. the dental here is so expensive that even if you have a extended medical insurance, the coverage is not even good, like usually its not more than 2000 dollars limit for a entire year of your coverage (limit of 2000 dollars for all type of dental treatments in a single year). and to put it in to perspective, suppose if you get a new dental crown after a root canal treatment in canada, just single dental crown costs minimum 1500 canadian dollars, add to it a root canal treatment cost, which is another 2000 dollars minimum, add a cleaning and basic filling of another tooth, add 400 dollars more. the more treatments you need the more you need to pay from your own pocket . and suppose if you dont have a extended medical health benefits, then you need to pay entire cost from your pocket. In India you can get a high quality root canal and dental crown done in not more than 10000 INR to 15000 INR.calculate and compare the treatment cost of both countries. The canadian doctors dont do anything or treat you unless there is emergency, only if one needs to go in ER, they will treat you, and that too it depends on the number of patients in line, its not that yu go and get aa treatment immediately, it depends on the severity and emergency level, you get the treatment. people waiting the entire night or 2 days in severe fever or pain is quite normal here, till the doctor attends you,as they dont care about it.I can give you number of cases where the canadian doctors have given wrong diagnosis or have not treated the patients well , and which in turn have aggravated thier medical conditions.only if one is in a really bad condition then they will treat you, but in India its otherwise, if you have the money you get treated immediately. you cannot even consult a specialist in canada directly, it totally depends on your family doctor. if your family doctors approves and gives a recommendation ,then only you can visit a specialist ,its so much better in India ,that you are not restricted that way. the worst thing is you cannot even get a family doctor immediately, people have to wait for 6 months to 1 year to get a good family doctor as the waiting line of people registering is long.Only thing a I agree withyou to some extent is cancer treatment, which is decent here. otherwise please stop spreading wrong information about canadian medical system and giving false hope and information to our people back in India just for the sake of your business and benefit.
