Tiger Cubs On Valentine's Day

These are the two new Amur Tiger cubs at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo - updated 2-14-24 .
Mom is Zoya, and dad is Hector. A male and female were born November 6, 2023. The Zoo announced the names on February 14th...they are Mila for the girl and Sergei for the boy.
Hector came to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo in November 2017 from Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, England.
The Zoo Facebook page mentioned him being 2 years old on July 27, 2017.
Zoya came to Cleveland in December 2019 at the age of 4, from the Odense Zoo in Denmark.
The Conservation status of the Amur Tigers is “ Endangered”. There are approximately 500 Amur Tigers left in the wild. They were formerly known as Siberian Tigers.

-Tigers are solitary creatures. Except for about a week during mating, males and females live alone. The only exception is a female and her offspring. They may stay together for 2 to 2-1/2 years
-Cubs leave their mother to find their own territories sometime between 2 and 2-1/2 years old
