  • We go trough the controler settings for EKX X-21 ebike. This same display is in use on other e-bikes and while settings depend on the bikes battery, motor, tire size and other things. This walk trough will help you see what are the options available. Link to manual below. Leave comments if you know more and lets learn together.

    Can you please share what your current settings are when they work good for you? Kiitos paljon 🙂

      I need to check them all in the evening after work, but I will make a list then. All working well, latest change was tire size as that 24 that was factory setting is too big. If I remember right 22" gives right speed for display. But I will check them all later 😊👍

      P1 in km
      P2 48V
      P3 I have 1-3 and use power values 40-60-100, so I have on level 1 max speed of 25km/h and on 3 full power.
      P4 22" gives quite accurate speed, maybe 2% too much.
      P5 01
      P6 63km/h (max)
      P7 28.0 as that should be controller max (someone said it would be 29). Default is 20, so might actually do something. I did not notice anything.
      Those might be tge most important I guess. Works well and have not played around with those too much. To get most out if the power, either use full power mode for throttle or set your OAS values so that at least the highest takes 100%. Default is not 100 in any of the PAS settings, if I remember right.

      @Usva78 thank you very much for taking your time to look it up. This helps to set up the bike when I get it. It comes from China as there was no stock left in the EU warehouse

    Was it included with the ebike or did you purchase it separately?

    • @Usva78
      @Usva78  Před 2 měsíci +1

      It is part of the bike yes. It is interface to operate the controller and just normally shows you speed, battery and trip meter for example. But you get to alter the settings that guide how the controller works within its limits. Same hardware is used on some other bikes too.

      So it is display used to show stuff and to use the UI to change cotroller settings 😊

      @@Usva78 I would 👍 I think the maximum is 31.5 happy biking

      Did you see difference between default 20 and the maxinum? They say it wont make bike go faster, but maybe more power for uphill?

      @@Usva78 I don't know mate cos I set it to 31.5 when I got the bike amps should give you more torque and speed

    Is there away to unlock the full power of the motor and go faster then 35

    • @Usva78
      @Usva78  Před měsícem

      35mph or 35km/h? I think that the hardware on this bike gives out max speed of 50+ km/h so thats little over 30mph... the given speed of 55km/h is more like theoretical. If you are limited to 35km/h then you can try to change power levels and speed settings on the display or try the quick switch.
      And if you want more than 35mph, you need different motor and controller for starters. At that point I would look for electric dirtbike instead 😊

      Maybe ask where you bought it for display manual or at least display brand and type? I would think they send you one with e-mail. If you cant get it or find version to find a manual yourself, then I would try pressing + and - at same time and see if it gives same kind of options. In many bikes the setting things are quite the same 🤔
