One should NEVER give up trying to make a change! What is Tina talking about! That attitude is what has Africans running from their home countries and never returning. Nothing will change if ya don't keep fighting.

maybe tina is right. africans are First human beings, and WE ALL KNOW humans whatever color OR hue are selfish, petty, jealous, and political. NO leader in the continent will willingly cede their "fiefdom" for the unification of a strong africa. when AND NOT until africans throughout the world realize that were tricked into accepting whites/JESUS as a savior, will our freedom be realised.

The African continent need to think about building a modern and powerful army to protect itself as a foremost primary concern.. Nations that has the most powerful militaries are the ones that controls the world and takes whatever it wants. While African was busy with building great civilizations, Europeans were busy understanding the building of better modernized WEAPONS so that they could invade, and destroy those African civilizations, ENSLAVED its people, and forcibly rob them of their natural mineral wealth. Just like Banks and homes require SECURITY, so does NATIONS of the world need modern and competent militaries to secure and protect the citizens and natural resources..

We cannot talk of integrating Africa into BRICS when we haven't united our selves first, however Good BRICS might seem. I tend to agree with Tina in reference to Idi Amins' position on upholding African dignity. The British brought Indians to East Africa and placed them ahead of Africans, which gave them a major educational and economic head start post independence. Today they are lauded for driving the economies of the region without enough deference to the role colonialism played in giving them this leverage. On the issue of expulsion, Idi Amin was ahead of the times - the propaganda machines of the West went into overdrive. I am glad that the winds of time are allowing for reflection and unlearning of some of these misconceptions.

The possibility that a leader would think keeping his people dependent simply because he fears not being needed or necessary concerns me. If a country's success is thwarted by the narcissism or arrogance of its leader, it reflects that leader's inability to lead. A king of mice is not as powerful as a minister of lions...No country is independent if its people are weak; no nation can be powerful if its people are ignorant. China has proven that a wise leader who recognizes and values the gifted amongst his citizens, will invest in the means to develop their talents, skills, and/or crafts. In turn, the pride of its citizenry significantly improved China’s status and now it has become a global force with to be reckoned. Internationally, China leads in technology and commerce, and has become a global superpower in 40 years, but it took talented, intelligent and skilled Chinese citizens to make it happen.

Comparing Russia to the west is such a major flaw.
A country like Russia and China just doesn't have the structure in Africa that Russia and China has, just the language barrier alone puts a massive dent for them trying to establish that kind of control over African politics.
Africa can get rid of the west on their own but the process will be far more difficult and far more destabilising than using other countries. Countries like Russia and China understand they don't have the same kind of foothold in Africa that's why they are more ready to behave in a more reasonable manner.
I'm not saying that it is not possible but it's just not the same. Plus Russia and China NEEDS Africa since they are also being threatened by the west, the relationship is very different

    Great great conversation!
More such conversation are needed and also it would be great to have some of the young African children on the podcasts sometimes!
Brothers, Sisters - Indeed, this is a quite challenging fight against White Supremacy that is systematically entrenched in various institutions and intent on maintaining the status quo at our expense!
Essential that we re-connect to God on a personal level and live a holy, moral and righteous life!
But, the truth is - WE ALSO MUST OBTAIN TRUE ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT!
TO ALWAYS HEAR THAT WE MUST RE-CONNECT TO GOD BUT THEN TO NOT ACCOUNT FOR THE FACT THAT BLACK PEOPLE ARE SYSTEMATICALLY EXPLOITED ECONOMICALLY SO THAT OTHERS SURVIVE AND PROSPER AT OUR EXPENSE IS NOT TRULY ADDRESSING THE ISSUE!
INDEED, WE MUST RECONNECT TO GOD AND OBTAIN ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT AS THEY ARE NOT MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE AND THE MERE FACT THAT OUR ANCESTRAL HOME IS BLESSED WITH ABUNDANT NATURAL RESOURCES, ARABLE LAND, ABUNDANT WATER, ETC. IS INDICATIVE OF WHAT GOD HAD IN STORE FOR US!
THING IS - NON-AFRICANS HAVE BECOME KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT AFRICA'S RESOURCES AND ALSO ABOUT AFRICA'S RELATIVELY YOUNG AGED POPULATION AND ARE AGGRESSIVELY USING THIS TO THEIR ADVANTAGE TO ACQUIRE INTER-GENERATIONAL WEALTH VIA EXTRACTION OF THE RESOURCES AT A DISCOUNTED COST AND ALSO WILL INCREASINGLY EXPLOIT THE YOUNG PEOPLE AS LOW COST OR FREE LABOR TO CONTINUE THIS EXPLOITATIVE CAPITALISM INTO PERPETUITY SO THAT THEIR GREAT GREAT GRANDCHILDREN'S CHILDREN WILL BENEFIT AT THE EXPENSE OF ALL DESCENDANTS OF BLACK PEOPLE FOR ALL TIME AS IF IT IS THEIR BIRTHRIGHT TO DO SO!
IN ESSENCE, THERE ARE COMPETING INTERESTS WITHIN AFRICA AND THE BATTLE FOR AFRICA IS NOT FOR THE MEEK AT HEART!
WE MUST BE EVER COGNIZANT OF THE FACT THAT WE ARE FIGHTING AGAINST EVIL SPIRITS AND FIGHTING FOR OUR ANCESTRAL HOME - THE BIRTHPLACE OF HUMANITY!
FOR THIS BATTLE, WE MUST HAVE GOD ON OUR SIDE!
UPON RE-CONNECTING TO GOD, THE REVISION OF THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM WITHIN EACH AFRICAN COUNTRY SHOULD BE PRIORITIZED!

Normally it is giving up 1 colonizer for another, but Russia has never colonized Africa and if you study real history, Russia has helped Africa before to liberate itself. The Africans do not manufacture arms, the Africans need to get their arms from somewhere and the Russians have been the most friendly to African nations historically.
And the Russians are also in need of friends,

The timing wasn’t right for Gaddafi. The time is now everything is happening according to sculptures and prophecy. Unification of all African peoples has to come to pass. The US empire must fall and it will fall as no empire stays in power forever. Everything that is happening has already been written. Remember ladies the enemy of my enemy is my friend. As long as our interest align we collaborate and when our interest ceases to be mutually beneficial then we part ways. We don’t need to love or even like our partners to work together. We only need respect and boundaries.

In less the 30 years China alone has built more infrastructure in Africa than all these European countries COMBINED. Intelligent self interest should come to play.

Btw my disdain for Idi Amin isn't based on what I heard on Western media or any type of media because we all know how Western media portrays Africans/Blacks and African/Black countries. I have some relatives and friends that were Idi Amin supporters until he started murdering some relatives/friends (they were also his supporters btw) who lived through the Idi Amin era: they said it was horror: they said in the Idi Amin era, during nights they had to sleep in the bush for 7 years because Amin and his soldiers kidnapped and/or murdered Ugandans. They didn't have time to listen to western media or any media for that matter because they were busy trying to survive Idi Amin during the Idi Amin era.

Oh stop it. For generations you've allowed villians students to go abroad for higher education. SELL THEM on the idea of bringing that education BACK. YOU PEOPLE ARE A CONTINENT and think like the small number of the US that continue to fight. DON'T JUST BE STRONG. BE STRONG AND SMART. I CANNOT COME BACK because you have nothing for me but I still want you to be better. The number of us here still fight each other. I was raised to see how people that look like us believe that Wire ice is colder than black ice. There is no connection to a history they won't look for. I am simply frustrated and no longer look for a black skinned woman to give me comfort. In this country I have little left to give to the mentally indentured women in this country any longer. I sill want the best for them but so long as they think and act like they are the men they want or are looking for, there's is no place for me to fight a losing battle for.
But for you , take the same hope I have for us here. I am old now but don't look that age because I live through the way I love myself. My body is young beyond my years. I pray you both love yourselves and your countries they way I have... em masses. You'll do well.
