I thought she seemed kind relaxed at 120mph. Shame there wasn't a tach next to the speedo. I'm guessing it was 4500 to 5000 rpm out of 6500 rpm redline. What a machine. Wow!!

That top speed is about right for a mono hull that size with those engines . To the idiots comparing it to a super cat must not know boats. Ask questions then instead of throwing dumb comments out there

That's about the speed of an MTI twin outboard cat. I wonder what the difference in maintenance cost is and seating size of the cockpit.

39' vs 52' , also that is comparing a cat to V Bottom. This SL52 features a generator, air conditioning, separate bathroom, full V berth and more options that contribute to making a heavier build. Seating is setup for 5 people in the cockpit but has many amenities.

@@707SonomaComa But think about it; a 39' cat running 125-130 with outboards was unheard of until Merc started building 450hp outboards and the builders started using all carbon. And those engines are very reliable.

I think he should have put 3 1350s in it. There's a 47Fountain in Sweden with that power and he's running almost 130. This boat should run 150+ with 4050hp.
Or quad 1350s for 5400hp which should give the boat 160+. This boat should have enough beam for four.
