- This song doesn't have a fancy solo in it, but it has some awesome riffs that are extremely fun to play. It suits my down picking style very well, and it's my favorite KSE song, so I thought I'd make a cover. The song is tuned to drop C and I'm recording directly to my computer using my Line6 POD 2.0.

2019 and I still come back to watching this dude's videos to learn from his techniques. If it wasn't for this guy's existence, I would have never picked up a guitar. Thanks for being my inspiration and indirectly helping me develop as a guitarist through all these years.

Guitar sounds a bit clearer and clearer than the album to me, easily one of my most favorite guitar tones in metal/metalcore.

Ive been watching this man on youtube since i was a young kid. and i still can't believe his flawless flow in everyone of his videos. no mistakes, everything is perfect. i feel as thought i become a better guitar player as i watch these. as tho i know I'm seeing the right way to do it.
watching him play the chorus and see him get into it is what makes me love killswitch. and especially since howard joined, they have this badass metal sound but they can grab you and show you how melodic metal can be and idk, theyre just badass man

i too miss this guy.. it is quite upsetting seeing as he hasnt come back but for a good reason i get that. he was the inspiration to me also as many of you, to learning how to play guitar. I even bought when i was 16 and legally of age to work, a KH-602 because my man KillrBuckeye owned one and damn well killed these covers. I watched them from time and time again and still do years later. +Lucien Padmos Lucien, I think you're thinking of Howard, the old vocalist for Killswitch Engage. He took a hiatus from touring because his Type 2 Diabetes was putting a toll on him. Howard is back touring with a new band nowadays.
