If a car is a cat N or Cat S but has no damage like that Fabia, it means it has been repaired and been put back on auction. Again, that Fabia went for £3150 but when you add fees and delivery, it costs nearly £4k! What people should also bear in mind is that Copart values are inflated. Furthermore, a car with a salvage title sells for less that a clean title car. So in reality, the profit margin is a lot lower than it actually seems.

If you know like There is a X at the end , that is insurance i know but i saw a C and Q and others at the end of the sticker number. could you say all of them and what do the marked things mean like 2 D R etc when they write and circle them around. Novices and non professionals beware, It is not as easy as you say it is and margins are not as big. Fees are quite high and you never mentioned transport and other expenses like the MOT, new V5, insurance... The other big expense is parts and especially body repair. Repair work costs so much and eats up a lot of the margin. It's only really worth it for professionals who do most of the work themselves especially body repair.
Also copart uses bots to "outbid" real bidders and inflate the price of the junk
Just brought one Dee. Realised MOT expired in 2021 oct. Cat S in 3/10/2022!! Fingers crossed i havent landed myself in s*** . 1 previous owner. 88k 2012 ford mondeo zetec business edition!!
