Hi I want to learn Chinese NFC version of Band 8 can be useable from another country. I have currently using Band 5 and ,for a while, I have been thinking to upgrade it. It has nearly a quarter time more expensive than general model. When I checked some people made it with mods and intergraded with Curve. Do you anything about this NFC feature, and how can you overcome it? Thank you
Hi Hedef, Mi Band 8, even it is china version we can use it because it has english language to choose from PAIRING the smart band into your smartphone. And yes it is working good even here in the Philippines. And about the NFC i did not try yet, I'm using my online payment on my GCASH APP Account. But if you want to use the said NFC you need to download the Alipay app and put some money, for you able to pay using your watch Alipay, about the Weixin Pay i did not try that, you can use that if you are in HongKong, Macau and China. @@cobaltblue5523 if you can make payment through your band so its nfc i suggest you to use your band when its working properly and fine dont throw the working mi band
my suggest upgrade to the latest band if you need it.

Hi Aim, MB8 still have the watch faces design from the previous MB7, yes you can use it using Mi Fitness app. China version have english language and maybe but not sure on the next update they will just add another languages, but we usually use the International english language. So some of my smartwatches is from china and it's all still working very good. Hope this help. Thanks

Yes much more smoother than mb7, because mi band 8 it has new updated processor and with up to 600 nits
60Hz refresh rate. Screen brightness is good and much more smoother and responsive than the previous 7. Hope this help. Thanks
Did the gold strap was going dirty fastly as long as you use the miband 8?
it defend on how long you use it, yes sometime it get dirty but it is washable. better to have other straps to alternate. Thanks

Can you share the watchfaces app you are using?
I used the same app Mi Fitness app for all Xiaomi smart band and watches. I also have Zepp Life app but I always use the recommended one MFAPP. hOPE This help

wala naman problema sir till now, even mag switch ako sa phil region nation from china still working good with my iphone. All my smart watch and band i did not try to connect it in any 3rd party app like strava. I prefer using the dedicated app. Hope this info help. Salamat and God bless!

Don't worry man all mi bands are water proof in workouts you can see there is a swimming option so its waterproof:)
Is the watchfaces of miband 8 compatible to miband 7?
Some watch faces is from the previous MB7 they just add new for MB8 only and not compatible with MB7. I both had MB7 and 8 it's not work watch faces for 8 to 7.

The ios version of the Mi fit app does not allow changing the watch face, while this watch has many attractive watch faces! Has anyone found a solution to use other watch faces on the iOS app?

Hi Ahmad, I usually charging all my smart band and watched in my computer, im not direct to power outlet because this are small battery. For 18w direct to power outlet it can but yes if you over charge and forget it will damage you smart band or watch battery. Yes you can. Hope this help. Thanks

No, 1 will damage your charger or your battery, to keep your MB8 in good battery life dont over charge it.
