Got mine today. Its absolutley beautiful...but i dont understand, why using the copilot button needs internet connection? isnt it supposed to work on device without internet?
How's the battery life looking? Any device you could compare it to?
Receiving information still requires an Internet connection, especially if you're doing something like a search or if you need to gather any type of information from the Internet.

The Text that is generated with AI is generated on a Server. Your laptop wouldn't be powerful enough to generate text fast.
@@derguutebabobauerthe laptop can run a small model to generate text, but it's not possible to train such models on these laptops.

We dont need copilot and ai software. We need a fanless laptop with top performance ,long battery life and linux out of the box. Hope for linux support on t14s gen 6
Realistically, very few people use Linux in the grand scheme of things. Will you see one? Maybe? People have been asking for Retail Linux units for over a decade, and you still don't see them at market in any meaningful way. The reason, although Linux customers love their Linux boxes, the truth is they are Unwilling to pay what manufacturers would charge for them at the Retail level. Plain and simple. These companies want to sell laptops to the masses not concern themselves with a niche market that has been asking for Linux laptops and boxes for 3 decades. Any attempt at this at scale has always failed.
@@SteevWho Wrong. Linux users would have no problem paying as much as Windows or Mac users. In fact, we would be willing to pay even more for a better system.
We can agree to disagree. I know no one that uses Linux that would wait for the SOC to become available and build their own before coughing up cash for a prebuilt system.

Hi Lenovo team, in oct 2021 i buy Lenovo IdeaPad slim 5i comes with faulty motherboard but it got replaced but this year I get heating issue so Lenovo replaced by motherboard in April,then it gives power on issue then motherboard replaced again and then I got no charging issue i.e it is dead my warranty till oct this year so please help me Lenovo just replacing my motherboard and then they not taking any responsibility please guide me

Something is wrong with your unit if you can't hear it at 100%. Return it to where you bought it and get one that works correctly. This device has upward facing speakers that sound incredible for its size.

Huh? It has 512gb of storage at the retail level. If you are speaking of RAM instead of Storage, you are miss understanding the chipset, and what these devices need to operate. You can't judge what is now going to be Old laptop architecture against these new chipsets. Do some research on these new chipsets before you judge them by there cosmetics.

As much as people are nay saying this software, Windows is going to jam it down everyone's throat like every other interaction of Windows that since Windows has been an OS. If you don't like it, don't use it, but Microsoft is going to implement it, regardless.

@@sagarkapasi099 Co Pilot is a Feature not a OS. Windows 11 is the OS. What I was commenting on is if you don’t want to use Co Pilot, then don’t. It doesn’t negate the laptop because of a feature of the OS. These devices are stunningly better than Intel or AMD as a productivity units.
I have one and it's a piece of crap.
Why
The worst AI is copilot. You can realise it easily if you are interested. Copilot has not got any feature than others. I do not buy this laptop if it has a copilot. No one can force me to use this. It will not be good in the future.

Compared to others, it is still very inadequate, itis extremely prone to giving incorrect answers, and it cannot follow what is written between sections. You have to explain it down to the smallest detail for its to understand. The details provided are insufficient.

I use copilot even in my android phone, it quite useful to get information, better than searching and have to read one by one while copilot can give me the summary, saving me lots of time.

Is the sheep supposed to represent the customers who buy a laptop with an operating system installed from a company (Microsoft) that, unlike Apple, has not managed to program its OS to run reliably on a platform other than Intel's for more than a decade?
