BLADE:The Series (2006-07), takes place after the third film.
Marvel Anime:BLADE (2011), which is very good.
Both series aired on Spike tv.
Would you react to either one?
Blade 2, Blade, Blade Trinity
Blade 1, 2 and then 3
Roxy only body who can make guy cum without touching it
The world girl best threesome I ever had
John: “Is the ponytail guy a wrestler or something?”
Me: “IT’S TRIPLE H!!!” 😂😂😂
Imagine saying "I AM THE GAME" with those prostethic teeth.
I was looking for this comment! lol

Theres nothing cooler than Snipes as Blade. He is the most fitting and stylish actor to portray a comic book hero, adding so much and beyond to the character.
Apparently this is what got Ryan Reynolds the job for Deadpool.
I mean yeah you can tell this character could've easily been Deadpool
@@disorderrgv since they are in the same universe, my head canon is that its just a buddy cop film with deadpool and blade lol
Marvel definitely recycles comic book actors
Ryan was essentially playing Deadpool here versus actually playing King. King is nothing like that in the comics.
I felt he would be the best person for Deadpool when I watched him on Van Wilder!
Fun fact - Jessica Biel got SO GOOD with the bow working on this that when they shot her shooting the plague arrow at Dracula she was SO on target she acxtually WIPED OUT the camera. In the DVD's behind the scenes stuiff there's a great piece of blooper b-roll showing her looking first horrified, then cracking up laughing as she realised what she'd done.
That's great! 🤣🤣🤣
I actually think that Blade Trinity isn't as bad as many people say, its fun to watch. They butchered Dracula, but the movie stil is fun and some movies dont need to be more.
Its worth it just for the dogs.
The Dracula concept here is pretty cool, btw. At least cooler than Dracula iterations in modern media so far (at least for me). I like that they didn't fully went with the 'magic' route for his powers and instead adding some biological science and realism here and there, like how he can shapeshift because his bones are consisting of thousands of little pieces like a snake, that he can arrange at will.
@@nitrokid I still prefer the comic dracula, there the character is way more menassing
I enjoyed it
My biggest gripe is that Dracula was lame af. Plus the actor that played him wasn't menacing in any way or convincing as a centuries old being.
Fun fact - Jessica Biel got so good at archery that when they told her to shoot at a camera that was behind a plexiglass shield (with a small hole for the lens) she shot the arrow through the hole, destroying the camera.
I personally really enjoy this one
It's the "least good" out of the trilogy but it most certainly isn't as bad as some people make it out to be
I agree 100%. It's similar to how I feel about the Shrek franchise. Some movies are noticeably better than others, but I still have a good time watching each one.
Okay fighting against the guards on this show is not against the law plus I don’t believe you could go to jail for this
FPS in this case is Feet per Second. Those variables affect how fast your bow shoots an arrow, which is measured in feet per second. The higher the number, the faster your arrow is flying. Most hunting setups propel arrows 270 to 285 fps.
Same with firearms
However, At the time this movie was made 240 fps was pretty good for a typical hunting bow.
This movie is actually the reason why Ryan Reynolds wanted to play Deadpool.
the PonyTail guy is PAUL TRIPLE H LEVESQUE, current COO of WWE. THE GAME. The man who single handedly pumped life back into WWE.
And a racist too
This movie is actually the reason I’m alive today. I was going through a divorce in 2009. My ex took everything I had clothes, car, house, etc. I was drinking a lot and got to a point where I wanted to take my life. One night I was drinking almost completely wasted, watching this movie on the verge of suicide then Ryan’s character at the end of the movie was doing his Deadpool thing. Talking shit to the other vampires. It was so funny I had a wake up call of sorts. Inner voice in my head said it’s not worth taking your life over this. So I took it upon myself to deal with life differently a lot like Ryan using sarcasm to deal with my insecurities. It still works for me till this day. So movie means a lot to me for that. Also this movie is the reason why Ryan took on the role of Deadpool. One of the producers told him he would be a great fit for the character. So they gave Ryan a Deadpool comic. He opened it up and the first page was Deadpool himself saying. I look like a cross between Ryan Reynolds and a sharpe! Ryan even used a little bit of that line in the first Deadpool film. I was bit by a radioactive sharpe.
I'm so glad to hear that you're doing so much better. I can relate to what you went through. I was going through a painful divorce in 2015. My daughter is living on the other side of the United States with our daughter, now. It still hurts, but not like it used to. My son being here helps to keep me grounded. I appreciate you sharing something so personal. 🙂
Thank you for sharing such a personal story with us. It can hurt sometimes, sometimes more than anyone can handle, but the fact that you found salvation in humor is so awesome. I hope Ryan Reynolds hears about this someday.
The only person that came out of this film positively was Ryan Reynolds. Only because after this, Hollywood figured out ryan could do action movies.
The win goes to Roxy for remembering "two guys, a girl, and a pizza place". I seriously thought I had hallucinated that show because nobody else ever admits to remembering it.
Blade Trinity is a book. There is material for them to adapt to the new series in the book Blade sleeps for 25 years. They entomb him to keep him safe. Full circle
The amount of behind the scenes drama this film had was just insane. It's hard to believe who is right and who is wrong anymore regarding the failure of this film. All I can say is that I think Wesley Snipes didn't like the idea of Blade working with other Vampire Hunters in the story. He wanted it to be a solo act of sorts like the previous 2 films where he is the last man standing.
Love the sticky note one 😂
Wesley let his ego get to his head
Wesley blamed the director, at the time he didn’t agree with the direction of the 3rd film and made it known but they forged ahead anyway, Ryan Reynolds said Wesley basically behaved like a dick on set but in actuality to me the final product ultimately proved him right.
He had stand-in's for certain scenes like the actions sequences with Dracula as he and Goyer didn't see eye to eye.
Pretty understandable honestly. They bring in 2 young white up-and-commers and give them both about equal amount of lines as Blade. Snipe's is a big ego type, so this was probably a trigger for him.
I really love the blade franchise and definitely can't wait for the next one. Blade 3 is underated, cool deleted scenes n all the movies are great
its NOT overrated lol
Those Blood containment units are call back to the first Blade movie. There was one a quick scene in the beginning at the underground vampire club.
I love Ryan Reynolds and his default acting range
He really doesn't have much of a range at all.
@@bethanychatman9531I disagree. He's shown he's capable of more in some movies, but either everyone writes him the same way or he chooses to stick to the same shtick. It does sell movies so why change I suppose?
I was with Roxy here that I can't take him seriously sometimes. Not because he's too funny, but because it ends up being Ryan Reynolds. Comic Hannibal King is practically the exact opposite personality type as this one.
The only genuinely great thing that came out of this movie is that it is almost the direct cause for inspiring Ryan Reynolds to play Deadpool.
Let me clarify, so back in 2005 after this movie was released a movie producer who is also a big comic fan called Ryan and told him that if they ever make a Deadpool movie he should play it because of how his character in this movie is so much like Wade Wilson. Ryan said he didn’t know who Deadpool was so the producer sent him some comics. And in the first page of the first one he read an old woman asks Deadpool what he looks like under the mask and Deadpool says “I look Like a cross between Ryan Reynolds and a Shar-Pei”. And after that he fell in love with the comics.
I know it's the least popular of the three, but Ryan's one liners had me cackling as a teen. Was also a Biel fan 😊❤
This is the VERY FIRST MOVIE that Ryan Reynolds got jacked for and he's kept it for every role after this. Him and Jessica Biel got down to low single number digits for percentage of body fat for their roles. They both came to work and did what they needed to. It was the poor direction and editing that screwed this movie, it was the fact that New Line didn't allow Wesley Snipes to pick the director for this one, as they did with the previous ones (which he ended up suing New Line btw), that fucked this movie into the ground. David Goyer is great as a writer most of the time. Don't let him direct, because it will look like a TV budgeted action show instead of looking amazing like the last two movies.
While low body fat in single digits may be "good" for a woman to appear athletic, it's not healthy for her in the long run. She'll lose her menstrual cycles. Women have naturally higher body fat percentages than men for that reason. Many female athletes lose their cycles because they take the body fat % too low.
@@w1975bboth being in a single digit body fat not good in the long run, you’ll look good temporary but in the long run you get issues.
I did like the fact it shows the reaper strain was actually closer to the real form of a vampire. Their mouth was like drake, their heart covered in bone, kind of like armor, plus heighten strength, they were closer to the true form but only the main one had the control, just my thoughts
But as Drake said all this time Vampires was trying to make a stronger vampire, but fail to realize they already made that vampire, which was Blade...so actually Deacon Frost actually did something that older vampires couldn't do even if it was an accident. Also it is kind of amazing that a non pure blood vampire created a powerful hybrid vampire...if he wasn't an asshole and could've seen beyond his own arrogance, he would've seen that and probably actually be proud of Blade...but then again he could be in Hell telling the pureblood to suck it as he was the vampire that created Blade...(It's not like they could kill him)
Blade Trinity Unrated Version is way better than the Theatrical Version 💯 you guys should check that one out 🍿🍿🍿 and yes Roxy their's a vampire love scene ❤
The Blood Bags were actually introduced in the first Blade movie, and can even be seen in the very first Blood Rave scene, when they are walking through the meat packing plant. The plot point was jettisoned, but a deleted scene shows Deacon Frost explaining to Karen that the Blood Bags would be used to feed from, when everyone is transformed into vampires by La Magra.
Say what you want about this movie, Wesley Snipes made this character. One of those roles that the actor makes iconic. Having said that, there is room to reboot it. Different takes on the character possible, just like Batman or Joker. It's not gonna be easy though.
Marvel Studios has been trying to get a reboot made for years now... It's starting to look like it's just not gonna happen. Not anytime soon anyway. They announced the new movie with Mahershala Ali like 5 years ago, and they still keep pushing it back for rewrites. I'll bet every comic in my closet that when the movie does get made, it won't be with Mahershala Ali. He's not getting any younger.
John has finally been redeemed.
Also, J-Rox is a great reaction team
Nice Reaction John and Roxy, The behind the scenes drama of this movie is so crazy, 👍
Patton Oswald talking about it is hilarious. that Wesley snipes would only answer to Blade and got mad at the director so only talked to people with sticky notes and aggressively reeked of pot the whole time.
Actually you need a very high IQ to fully appreciate Blade Trinity, multiple rewatches and the directors cut shows how deep, it Truly is.
Tell Roxy the tatts were for the familiars. That was the vampires' way of marking their property. Blade explains that in the first film. Hannibal was Danica's familiar before she turned him.
I heard Wesley snipes sued the film makers over the Blade 3 fight choreography and disagreements over casting. He was heavily involved in those decisions in the first 2, and excluded on the 3rd film.
It's interesting if you watch del toro's interview from Blade 2, he talks about how no one knew Blade better than Wesley, so del Toro took his input seriously, can't argue with the end results. Probably was ignored when it might have helped to listen to Snipes.
John talking about the staircase and choice in colors depending on the angle...
Roxy, “Do you think babies have sweeter blood?”
😂
There’s no way that this one is the best of the trilogy, but none the less, it’s still in my heart.
Behind the scenes drama here is great. Wesley Snipes would just smoke weed in his trailer every day until it was time to come out. When he came out he wouldn't talk to anyone. He wrote comments on post it notes to hand to people to communicate.
Also the first victim that gets killed off by Dracula with his head getting ripped off portrayed Rainbow Raider in CW's The Flash tv show. Dominic Purcell who of course was Drake/Dracula was Mick Rory aka Heatwave in CW's The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
Love Wesley Snipes as BLADE!❤ MARVEL needs to find a way to utilize Snipes in the MCU.
I like this one a lot. In my personal canon this movie is the Genesis of Ryan Reynolds becoming Deadpool- Hannibal King in this is the 1st Draft of what became Deadpool on the Big Screen. The Action, the snarky comments and 1 liners. I have watched Trinity then Wolverine Origins, then the 3 DPool movies as a Wade Wilson Mini Marathon. It's also funny with Jessica Biel being a kind of Hawkeye in this movie because i said way back that Ryan was my pick to play Hawkeye in a Avengers Movie Pre MCU. In the comics Hawkeye is a wise ass and a bit of a likeable jerk at times.
It was fun seeing Jon and Roxy marking out for Triple H lol
It was time for them to play The Game.
Degenaration ❌
I legit yay'd when I saw this hit my CZcams. Excited to see how y'all react. It's been fun watching this alongside you folks. 😊
Roxy! You have leveled up in my mind after your Two Guys, a Gilrl and a Pizza Place. That show was total 90s cheese but i loved that show.
I loved it! Can’t find it anywhere for a rewatch
I love John and Roxie together!! If you guys did the Blade tv show I would definitely watch it
When she was shooting arrows through the chronograph, it showed FPS - feet per second. A number of factors affect this in archery, but most high-performance hunting compounds nowadays shoot over 300 feet per second. To put that in perspective, that's the length of a football field...in one second.
Roxy is Foooooxy! 😏. Loved rewatching these movies with you guys! Have a great weekend
My main problem with this movie was it changed to be an introduction to a possible new spin off movie franchise.
The movie was okay but a departure from the other two.
Blame can be passed around but I personally wanted to see more Blade in a Blade movie not a nightstalker movie with the Blade name.
My thoughts exactly. Wesley had the same criticism of the movie lol
I would want to see Wesley come back as Whistler in the new Blade movie.
Just realized Ryan Reynolds was in 3 comic book movies before finding his iconic alter ego (Blade Trinity, Green Lantern, and Wolverine Origins) 4th times the charm 😅😂
38:07 Fun fact: In Marvel vs Capcom 3, Jill Valentine's arcade ending showed her and Blade working together. That's when I found out Blade was Marvel! 😂🙏🏽💪
I love this movie! Is it great? No, but it’s a fun cheese filled adventure. Plus, Ryan can do no wrong in my eyes. Knowing now much Snipes hated making this film and was an ass to everyone in the process, the fact that got made at all was a miracle.
4:15 This reminded me of Kris Kristofferson in "Convoy" (1978) in which he was a truck driver. I absolutely LOVE Jessica Biel and her training in archery was so spot on that she broke the camera she aimed at.
Roxy is such a wholesome edition to the rejects! Love you guys!
20:15 if Roxy ordered me to make weird sounds I would too 😆
So weird, as soon as Roxy said that Triple H looked familiar, she even became more attractive to me. Guess the space in my heart reserved for wrestling, will still stay with me for a while.
If she actually said his name and started saying some stuff about him that would be more understandable but all she said he looked familiar you must be starving😂
We will always support you all. Keep up the good work.
This was fun. Thanks again you two ☺️👍
I guess Trinity in this case for the film is trio of Vampire Hunters with Blade, Hannibal King and Abigail Whistler.
It's the third movie
I love this duo. 🤗
I really enjoy the reactions with the two of you
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
Ryan Reynolds’s was approached for Deadpool because of this film
J&R make a good duo in reacts. I watched their Blade and Blade 2 reacts last night by chance. Then this came out a few hours ago. You two and awesome reaction pair. AWESOME ROXY and JOHN(sorry if I misspelled your name)
The guy Roxxy said looked familiar was one of the human Cylon models in Battlestar Galactica.
The actor's name is Callum Keith Rennie and one would recognize him from everything filmed in Vancouver over the last 30 years.
"Is Drake the best you ever had?"
Well done, Roxy!!!
👏👏👏 🤣🤣🤣
Also if it hasn’t been brought up this was the movie that Ryan Reynolds’s became aware of Deadpool!
Not the most liked movie in the trilogy but I enjoyed it. Dracula was awesome.
Jessica Biel was a pretty good shot with the bow considering her 1 shot with the cure she managed to get past the protective guards of the camera shooting her and shoot the camera.
Just googled it, "The Silencers,” a 1966 James Bond spoof starring Dean Martin, was the first movie to use a post-credits scene
Love this movie!!!! It doesn’t get enough credit for finishing the trilogy on a mega-high note. It’s underrated because it followed two of the most awesome movies in Blade & Blade 2….NOTHING could have topped the first two movies y’all. It’s a kikass movie on its own either way. 🦾🦾🦾🦾🦾🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️🧛♀️
Damn, this had quite the cast!
I forgot a lot of these people were in it!
Yeah, I mean, the movie's not THAT bad, it just didn't have the same more serious tone the first two had. Had this film been the first film, it might've gotten a better reputation just as a world builder.
Adapted for TV, you say? Would you be surprised that TNT made a Blade series not long after Trinity came out, in 2006. I think it was TNT... It starred Sticky Fingaz as Blade and Jill Wagner as the female lead. Jill was best known as a commercial actress at the time. Forgot what brand of product she advertised the most for, but the commercials ran quite frequently. She also had a small re-occuring role in Stargate: Atlantis. By small, I mean, 2, maybe 3 episodes.
Danica Talos was not in The Comics. She was made up for the film like Nomak, Damaskinos and his lawyer, Scud, the Reapers and the Bloodpack were in the previous film and Karen, Dragonetti, Curtis, Quinn, Mercury and Pearl in the first film. There was a Whistler in The Comics but he was a demon and Ghost Rider villain, not a mentor figure for Blade.(That was Jamal Afari and Blade`s birth father Lucas Cross, both of whom were eventually turned into vampires by Deacon Frost and Steppin` Razor respectively, forcing Blade to stake them through the heart with wooden crosses).Abraham Whistler was actually made for the first film`s script and was originally introduced(Voiced by Malcolm McDowell,no less) in an episode of "Spider-Man The Animated Series" also including Blade and Morbius the Living Vampire.(Who was intended to be the main villain of Blade II but New Line Cinema notoriously fiddled with the embargo and copyrights till they slipped through their fingers which they tend to do so the Morbius,Venom,Deadpool and many other spin-offs of darker MARVEL characters remained in Development Hell for years). In the Comics, Hannibal King was turned by Deacon Frost like Blade, he was also older, blond, a hard-boiled detective and clean-shaven.(Ya, they already gave Comics King`s personality and physical traits to Blade: Stoicism, guilt, muscular, self-hating part vampire or ex-vamp so they had to basically make King a more acerbic, foul-mouthed, irreverent and lighthearted character which combined with the casting of "Van Wilder`s" Ryan Reynolds pissed Wesley Snipes off who was dealing with tax evasion lawsuits from the IRS at the time and thusly was already in a mood which can be generously described as "fairly shit").
Wesley Snipes walks off set
Ryan Reynolds: He hates me doesn’t he
Director: Cut
Ryan Reynolds: Wait we were filming?
They was a rumours years ago after this came out that Kate beckinsale from the underworld franchise wanted to do a blade crossover but the studio cancelled it
I still don't understand why this was ever a concept to consider, Blade is a vampire-human hybrid vampire hunter and killer who hates ALL vampires. Selene from Underworld is herself a vampire. I cannot see them being allies just enemies. Also in order to crossover the two in-universe worlds they would have to adapt or change one or both of their vampire lore and history to make it work. Which is probably one of the many reasons why they didn't cross them over.
I love blade trinity. It's my favorite of the 3. I wonder what the 4th Blade would have been like .that post credit 😅❤❤❤
You two make a great couple. Great chemistry in your reactions videos 🤙🏽
Was waiting for this, my favorite to be honest, if you watch it as a comedy.
In the alternative ending blade is actually on the table and wakes up with drakes eyes and kills all the cops, now I'm not sure if that means drake gave blade his powers or never actually died and just shifted into blade.
no the alternate ending is definitively BLADE hannibal king in the alternate ending literally says that blades dhampir status made him immune to the virus
David S. Goyer did continue the story via series starring Kirk Sticky Fingaz that aired on Spike TV which looked good but ratings were not good and canceled after one season.
Jill Wagner was awesome in that show.
@@marcusmcgill4423 She was amazing. She is even amazing in Teen Wolf.
Yeah I was excited for that show and only made it through a few episodes before giving up.
@@Brook11223 Yeah, she's so good as Kate Argent. She really makes you hate her, but she's amazing in the role.
There is another post credit scene with Whistler and King and a werewolf that was supposed to set up the Nightstalker movie.
HHH went from being a vampire in Blade Trinity to now looking like Kratos from God of War
Callum Keith Rennie is the vamp guy you couldn't place. He's a ubiquitous character actor who shows up in a lot of things in all different genres. Most people know him from Due South. Like Ryan, he's a Canadian.
He also starred in Battlestar Galactica as a human-looking Cylon. He was great in that.
They completely lose me at THE MOST POWERFUL Vampire taking a child hostage.
Nothing weaker than taking children hostage. Also a completely separate kidnapping.
While being chased lol
They really wrote "Drake" weirdly. Why was he even running from Blade at that point? 😂 With the power level he displayed at the end of the movie, he should be able to easily kill him.
Underrated film take all the drama out it’s great.
Patton Oswalt said the fact that this movie came out at all after everything that went down on set, puts it on par with Citizen Kane as a cineamtic accomplishment.
Cuchi coo🤣🤣
Really hope Feige reconsider making their version of Blade rated R. The first two movies I like more but overall enjoyable for what is was
Dominic Purcell was also in "Blood Red Sky" and "Primeval" which are some good movies 💡👍
Primeval!!! That’s the big alligator movie lol, was trying to remember.
@@ReelRejects yes 👍
@@ReelRejectsBEST OF THE BLADE FILMS !! I WANT MOVIE 4 NOW!
“maybe blade will showup in deadpool 3” bro predicted the future 😂
In the Marvel Universe, no one stays dead except Ben Parker
Jessica is in line to be Lara Croft? I'm fine with that. Look up the shot she made with her bow during filming...she has the skill for the part
Yay!!! The B movie that helped bring us Deadpool!
I really think the reason this movie doesn’t really fit with the other two is because Ryan Reynolds in it. You cannot put Ryan Reynolds in a movie without it becoming a Ryan Reynolds movie. Especially with the character who is playing here, which was basically Deadpool, which is basically Ryan Reynolds dialed up to 11. It’s quippy humor, whereas before Blade’s humor was dark, and usually came from something happening, rather than just something being said.
Love all you guys!!!!
YAY!! I was *hoping* you'd watch this one!
I dont care what anyone says I fucking love this movie
Lol ah yes Blade Trinity. A..polarizing goodie? Idk depends on what you think of it and who you ask lol. Me personally i think it’s fun.
The comment about how triple h's head going back even when he wasn't getting hit cracked me up,Im just like yeah he's a wrestler that's all they do ever. Its stupid that mma fighters get paid less than them when they actually get hit and not pretending like the wrestlers are.
Music at 30:42 hauntingly beautiful. Its at the end too. Love it
That's for sure Christopher Heyerdahl from Smallville where he played Zor-El during season 7 and of course was in Peacemaker season who got infected by the alien symbiote.
And he got desouled in chronicles of riddick
And he was one of the survivors in SyFy Van Helsing
35:10 Sure it was already said. But Jessica Biel low key DESTROYED one of the camera’s with her archery skills. So sad that she’s not in more action roles.
There is actually a fourth Blade movie...it's called "Too Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar". You guys should definitely watch it.
Lol
The vampire guy you couldn't place is Vancouver based actor Callum Keith Rennie who has been in, without hyperbole, almost everything filmed here in the last 25 years.
Oooh this movie!! As a child I thought this film went hard as hell and I will always watch it still to this day
