How to Set & Walk A Jump Course

Learn how Peter Wylde sets and walks a show jump course at home.
Things to think about when setting up a jump course at home:
- Simple is better!
- A typical hunter course is quite useful for practicing at home, along with bending lines
- Don't make the exercises extreme or complicated
- Starting your course with a more quiet line helps you and your horse maintain control throughout, rather than speeding up
- Short on equipment? Try setting up a gymnastic! Peter likes a 2-stride gymnastic (3-4 small verticals, cross-rails, or poles with 2 strides between).
