1) There are several treatment options for an enlarged prostate. You can take alpha-blockers such as terazosin (Hytrin) or tamsulosin (Flomax) to help relax the prostate and bladder muscles. You can also take dutasteride (Avodart) or finasteride (Proscar), a different kind of medication for reducing BPH symptoms.
2) If it is not possible to treat the prostate with the help of medicines, then the last option is surgery.
3) Limit your consumption of red meat, including beef, pork, lamb, and goat, and processed meats, such as bologna and hot dogs. Fish, skinless poultry, beans, and eggs are healthier sources of protein. Choose healthful fats, such as olive oil, nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans), and avocados.
4) As the prostate continues to grow, it compresses on the urethra, causing obstruction of not only urine, but the ejaculatory fluids as well. This could potentially cause issues with fertility, especially if the male is 45+ years of age, when prostate enlargement begins in earnest.

Sir , my Total PSA is 4.038 and free PSA - 0.602. This is decreased after taking antibiotics Cflox . Free PSA decreased sharply to total PSA , resulting it shows comparatively bad effects to ratio. . My dear free PSA is in very minute amount while total PSA is the main thing. You must consult this with your general surgeon. Your total PSA is just on borderline.

Dear A liver hemangioma is a benign (non-cancerous) tumor in the liver that is made up of clusters of blood-filled cavities. Most liver hemangiomas do not cause symptoms, although larger ones can cause poor appetite, nausea and vomiting. Smaller hemangiomas do not need to be treated, but larger hemangiomas may need surgery. You must consult this with a hepatologist also.

For men aged 70 to 79, a normal serum PSA reference range of 0.0-6.5 ng/mL (0.0-6.5 μg/L) is considered normal dear. The second big thing is that if there are no symptoms, there is no reason to fear.

I am 64 from Pakistan. My PSA in June 2021 was 1.17. On 4 March 2022 it went up to 4.41. I consulted a Urologist who did DRE and felt nothing suspicious. He advised septron and a repeat PSA test after 6 weeks. After taking the first dose of septron I had severe tingling as a result I discontinued septron immediately and instead used cranberry sachet and apple cider. I repeated my PSA test after six weeks and it came out to be 1.61. I went to a second lab and repeated the test next day. It came out to be 1.81. Then the same day I repeated the test In a third lab and it came out to be 1.69. Sir What do you? advise.
My dear you must visit a urologist again. Your PSA is slightly high. Hopefully medicine and some changes in diet will improve your prostate levels soon

@@MariamAhmed-sb8kz although there has been fluctuations, the level has remained below 2. I did CT scan and MRI - both didn't indicate anything to be of concern. The advice is to keep monitoring.

MRI of Prostate is better way to diagnose the tumor of Prostate.
A prostate MRI can detect if a cancer is growing outside the walls of the prostate gland or into nearby structures, such as the seminal vesicles or bladder. This is a sign of possible metastatic disease. However, the exam cannot tell if a cancer has spread distantly into other organs outside the pelvis.
