Struthiomimus returns with brand new updates to its model, animations and a huge expansion to its range of abilities that give Struthiomimus players a new leash on life!
Directional Tail Attacks
Directional tail attacks are in progress, a highly requested feature that allows certain dinosaurs to aim attacks in the direction you are facing in-game!
When Critters Attack!
Our aggressive Critter AI is making progress, allowing critters to not only spawn on their own, but also chase down and attack small dinosaurs!
Extinction Skin Pack Out Now

The aggro critters is a cool addition, but I hope it's not just Platy, Paleo, and Didelphodon. Aggressive kelp sharks, stingrays and arapaimas would make the waterways alot more interesting.
Some new critters specifically made to be dangerous would be cool too. Maybe an AI only dinosaur or paleozoic creature could work? Like defensive Zuniceratops or Aggressive Herrerasaurus
Herrerasaurus should be playable, but I support the idea of instead of the Computer being playable because they don't put aggressive Compys? But the mod is also good.
Is anyone else having trouble with digging up burrows or is it just me, cuz the game isnt letting me do it 😭
I hope the Barsboldia TLC update will come out next!

The possibility of damage that a big Dino could do to a pounced raptor was realistic and very situational. For example if an Achillo pounced on the back of a stego, it could get hit with the tail, however if it pounced from the front, the tail wouldn't hit it..this was realistic and also needed a bit of skill from the raptor to position itself better. But now an Achillo killed my stego in 2 pounces. It completely ignored my tail swing when it jumped to pounce on my back. It got me to half health while I helplessly spammed the shrug button. It then safely went 50ft away, regenerated it's stamina, came back and finished my stego. Now how is this balanced, fun???

Right?? I've been screaming for more buffs for us solo players for so long now. You're already in a group, why do they need so many buffs??
I hope they make the singleplayer mode actually usable if they add an AI ecosystem bc most of the time in online everyone is in gp and crater and the oceans are always empty i think i would enjoy singleplayer if it actually felt somewhat alive
For home cave stuff. Can you increase the complexity counter per room. If I wasn't soooooooooooo limited. I would do more home cave stuff
People actually use home caves other than just to park their Dino? Personally, the system is boring and dated. I'd much rather they cut the system out, and work on the other things.. instead of splitting attention between them.

It’s an amazing update when it comes to the biomes, nests, adaptations to the map itself, changes in tinting etc, yeah very happy where this is going! I love realism so all these changes are fantastic!!!!
Here’s some feedback for you, undo your change to the pounce mechanic where you can’t attack raptors that are latched onto you. 90% of the player base did not want this change but you did it anyway. I highly recommend that you change this.

Raptor players did, without bleed the raptors are super almost usless
It’s also unrealistic, so there’s no excuse.
To be fair countless dinosaurs were raptor proof because of their jank hitboxes, completely invalidating raptors when they already sucked enough
I loved it when silk scales just let u avoid the pesky raptors now you just accept death.
# we are waiting for full-fledged bots capable of attacking or defending, full-fledged migrations of herbivorous bots, a nesting system, a new map, new dinosaurs from developers, changing vegetation, improving the graphical threshold of the game for a beautiful picture.
PLEASE undo the pounce mechanic where you can't do damage to a dino thats latched onto you. Kinda unnecessary in my option and takes the fun out of the challenge. Thank you

If it's to make of for bleed, then just give back bleed since this just seems more busted.

Has there been any work on a scent and tracking system? Thats pretty core to this kind of game.
"metric hook for amount of UNIQUE waystones a payer has DISCOVERED in a map" is a very interesting phrase, since it doesn´t reflect how waystones work atm (always visible and not unique)
P.S: incredible work everyone, even if i´m not 100% a fan of the struthi TLC, the work and love you put into the game is tangible
Wondering if they'll count the water ws for our land dinos.. you know, like how carnis have to 'collect flowers'.. seems rather anticlimactic
Are there any plans to add edible trees to the game? I know all the giant sauropods are modded creatures but it’d be kind of nice not to have to have something like a Brach,Argentino or Camara trying to bend down and aim it’s narrow camera at a patch of flowers just to eat.

A.I. prehistoric insects for insectivores would be amazing for gameplay and immersion when A.I. finally get added.
Especially for Microraptor.
Here's hoping edible water foliage will be included as well for any herbivorous water dinos.
Good to see AI is finally being worked on again. I remember when launching the game years ago there was an option to look over panjura in spectate and see AI dinos interacting with one another. It seems that a lot of the community either wasn't there for that or remembers that feature but it was something i enjoyed immensely. With the hoard testing I'm wondering if that's to see how well AI dinos will do in a world populated with players.
I'm surprised you could even play POT without a switch online membership to begin with. Nintendo is so stringent with their policies that it was only a matter of time that any way to circumvent paying them would be nipped in the bud.
Double jump could do with a little animation, but overall, pretty solid update :)
I would love if they added ai dinosaurs to make some areas of the map feel more alive. It would also be nice for single player

How about some major bugs getting fixed.... like the Panjora quest system breaking and not loading quests... been over a year!

Thanks for the dev blog I hope those are just Dino AI nests cause we would all want players to build their own nests maybe the new things like being able to pick up mud and stuff like that is something to make a nest with and roots and sticks too! And could you guys pls fix that New pounce update not a big fan of it.Also loving the New plants good for micro!
Double jump needs to be more accurate, its not arcade game about cartoony dinos, so make for double jump animation where he starts flaping. It will be better.
I hope in the future you all Will add Sense of Smell "Mechanic" and Carnivores can "Dragging" Their Prey just like The Isle:)

could you give a dinosaur transfer option. To avoid lands being emptied you could give options like once you transfer you can't transfer back. Only one free transfer then pay for transfer tokens
That's a terrible idea you should be able to transfer your dinosaur's between maps for free and any time you want you shouldn't have to pay just to have a change of scenery

They kind of already have a double jump, I would even call it a triple jump, you just use the fall ability which gives you a forward thrust then you jump and while you jump you do the pounce dash, simple
Could it be possible when AI Dinos arrive, for example with Lambeosaurus the player can collect AI Lambeosaurs into a herd? Carnivores have the task of hunting small animals and herbivores, so why shouldn't herbivores have the task of gathering the herd?

Revert the pounce changes, it’s by far one of the worst changes you’ve made recently, and there’s been a lot of those

2 big things,
1. change the pouncing mechanic back to the old one
2. change the mechanic auto running/flying back to the old one
its unplayable with controller

I used to play this game all the time and a I still try to keep up with the updates but after certain changes and additions the game felt off and I hear you can’t damage things that are pounced on you which is absurd. Also I don’t know about anyone else but I miss ceras quick thrash not the 8 second cool down stuff. Ik it was kind op but from my knowledge cera is kind of in the dirt now.

The combat calls are a good idea but the execution ruined them, they do not last long enough or do enough to be worth using.

I thought Bars got the highest HP in pot with good armour but two Achilo can take a bars down easily....wasted two weeks growing my bars alone in Gondwa....
It was nerfed awhile back, people thought bars was too hard to kill lol
Ya know the best part of Gondwa is you don't HAVE to play alone..

Either remove the double jump, or make it so the dinosaur uses its feathers/wings. It looks super goofy and out of place as it is now.
I think that was old footage they used because it does have an animation for the double jump in game. The On Alert ring is also white in game instead of yellow.

I have some feedback. First please make the lower tiers able to hit raptors with their kicks and other abilities like previously when raptors latch onto them so they can defend themselves. Second please balance certain dinos like kentro that needs its turning buffed along with it’s directional tail needing fixing as the attacks to slow and easy to dodge not to mention it phases through your opponent half the time. All bone breaking dinos need their bone break heavily nerfed especially dasp as dasp has so many high dmg attacks already so bone break is overkill and should be massively nerfed if not removed from dasp, suchos claw barrage is yet to be nerfed and allo needs a second head slot not to mention stegos hitbox needs fixing as you can hit its tail from a achillo body length away
ALL bone breaking dinos DO NOT need their bone break nerfed.. as not ALL bone break dinos can chase down their prey, like a dasp can.

Fr, cera's thrash shouldn't have an 8 second cooldown, I think they should give it the same cooldown as the charge, that would make more sense in my mind.
I loved the spot Cerato was in before the nerf… why do they nerf everything that gets a solid playstyle??

That seems to be a good idea because juveniles still need something to eat, and if there prey starts fighting back they could die, so maybe if there are like ten or twelve critters they will attack you
Death is a part of life. Get over it. And there won't be that many critters in one spot. That was just a test. 🤦🏽
