absolutely hated myth busters as it was nothing more than blowing up stuff and pretending to be science or engineering. I saw episodes where their own data in no way supported their conclusion. record all the data you want does not make it science. Hypothesis, design of experiment, and analyzing the data to refine the experiment or hypothesis is science
I like the way Gav is carefully placing the traps lining them up nicely while Dan just puts them in a bit of a mess and proceeds to destroy Gav’s organised placement! 😂
I love how Dan would rather jump into a trampoline full of 1k mousetraps than be responsible for the camera. This is why Gav is always the cameraman and Dan is the stunt guy.

When I was a school boy, in the 1960's, we watched a film about Nuclear Fission. They did a demo with mouse traps and ping pong balls. They filled a whole gymnasium with mouse traps, each loaded with 2 ping pong balls. Then they tossed in one ping pong ball. Was quite exciting!

@Stitched Productions Presumably to demonstrate the ripple effect of applied energy. In this case, one would _think_ jumping on a bed of mouse traps would be incredibly painful because a lot of them would pinch you.
However, the shock wave from his initial impact on the trampoline is powerful enough to trigger the traps before his body even reaches the surface. Gav even notes that in slow motion, you can see how the traps being triggered radiates outward from the impact area (corresponding to the shock wave).
I saw this in 2023 and genuinely thought it was made 5 mins ago, what quality, hats off!

I can't believe you got out of that totally unscathed. I didn't think you'd get seriously hurt, but I DEFINITELY thought you'd at lease get some pinches and several traps hanging off of fingers and other soft fleshy places on your body. Thats pretty amazing.. and the ripple effect of them all going off on the trampoline was pretty cool to watch, too.
