I really appreciate you creating all this content with making food on the wood fire grill. I just got one and there’s barely any recipes out there. I also got the new accessories and there aren’t any people doing reviews for that.
Hey thanks. I have the griddle pan, but still need to use it.
Looking forward to when you use it in a video. Mine just arrived today!
Straight MONEY!!!!
Thanks bro! 🔥🔥
CJ, you ROCK! Here it is Thanksgiving morning and I'm wondering how to cook my own turkey Breast. I just recently purchased a Ninja woodfire grill and now I'll finally get to use the smoke function. 🙂 Thank you so much for this video and I'll be following the steps you did! Cheers and happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
As a new owner of a Ninja Woodfire Grill, you have become my Bible on how to smoke/cook up so many tasty things. Keep up the work CJ, much appreciated!
Right on! Thanks!
Followed this yesterday and it tasted better than I thought it ever could, absolutely delicious!
That’s awesome! Thank you!!
Hey CJ i was cooking yesterday and some stray 🐕 dogs came up on my porch ,lol .smells awsome
Lol! Awesome!
Making this tonight CJ. Loved all your recipes so far. Let’s get this man to 100k!!
Right on!
Oh CJ! CJ! CJ! Thank you so much for teaching me how to do this. I just smoked a half side bone-in Turkey breast and 2 thighs (Publix sells them packaged separately and thawed -so easy peasy). Did the Cajun butter injector and baste. Came out tender, juicy and wonderful!! Love you, love it, love my ninja girlie grill!
Love it! Looks awesome, and so yummy with that butter injection 👍😊
Thanks Bobbi! ❤️
Thank you for your site and clear cut demos. I have recently purchased a Ninja Woodfire grill and have followed your site for the demo’s. Today I”m attempting to do 4 turkey boneless breast roasts. They were seasoned the night before with a dry rub of brown sugar, salt, pepper, cyaenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder and celery salt. During the cooking process after the initial smoke I will be basting them with a mixture of maple syrup and butter. Again thank you. Also watched you on Salted Pepper
Sounds amazing! Thanks much for watching!
I’m tuned in friend 😋
Thank you Miss Lisa! ❤️
Thanks a lot for this, CJ! I tried this last night, and my turkey breast turned out great!
Awesome!
Looks amazing.
Thank you!!
going to make this today!
Awesome!
I almost NEVER leave comments on youtube videos BUT! I did your recipe for thanksgiving today and it was amazing. Thanks man!
Hey thank you!
Let’s do it!!!

Welcome home. Woof woof from Cali
Cheers!
yummy late night video ty......
Thank you!!
I smoke those Butterballs too. Have to try your injection idea.
Yeah buddy ,wrre doing this for Thanksgiving
Right on!
Stop playing with me CJ. If you would have had mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing and a slice of pumpkin pie next to it I would have lost it! 🤣 That looked Amazingly Delicious! Nice Job! 💥
Ha! All that sounds too good right about now.
I 2nd that Cat Scratch!!!
that looks so moist and yummy.
Thank you!
@@CookingWithCJ we have a member's Mark pellet grill for our smoked chicken and love it. It works on electric also. I am still going to a get ninja pellet grill when i can.
Love watching your shows at moment researching before buying as I'm in UK when talking temperatures can you if possible give for instance 300 degrees Fahrenheit in centigrade as well
Yes, I’ll work on that going forward. Thank you
Looking delicious as usual, CJ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️What about a smoked ham demo? Since the holidays are coming up? 😋😋😋😆😆
Definitely on the list
It would be perfect if Ninja came out with this but a wood fire grill/ROTISSERIE!
Right?! I’m sure their big brain engineers are working on it.
CJ, I told you that it was ok to use charcoal pellets I the Wood Fire Grill. I did see in the manual it says not to use them. Doug at Cooking with has used them and so has Kenna at Kennas Kitchen. So please use at your own discretion. Personally, I will try it. If someone wants the charcoal flavor all the time, go back to the old barbecue.
I know you can use them. I just haven’t so far. Thanks
Question: I wonder what the difference would have been if it had been roasted in the regular Ninja Foodi Grills, of which I have two. As always, I adore both you and your regular great videos.
It would have probably cooked faster. Maybe a darker crust. Thanks much!
Another masterpiece.
I may have missed it, but how long did it smoke? I know you set it at 4 hours.
Great cook man, and I didn’t see any spillage of pellets on this one 😂😂
Lol! Thanks!
I've been looking for a turkey breast for several months and haven't found one. There should be plenty available soon with Thanksgiving coming up though.
Yeah, I had mine in the freezer. I try to stock up every year.
Some appreciate the approximate time it took to judge if they have enough time to cook it that day. Especially smoking if you are new to it. You may think it will take an hour but it might take 2 or 3.
Fair point. Thank you
Hi CJ,loving the videos. How many scoops of pellets did you use on the beef ribs?
I think I used two
I am really looking forward to trying out the ribs and brisket on the Ninja, but I also want to do just burgers and sausages, would love to know the best way to do these .Can you help please
Along with the injection, can you do a dry rub or did you substitute it with basting it with cajun butter?
Yes you can sub for it.
It's like you netted that Turkey breast and drug it home for dinner yourself 🍽 Doing the things for the family table, yum yum ...
Lol!! I dig it!
How much Smoky flavor did you get? Did you add any more pellets as it was cooking or just the one scoop?
Just one scoop. And it’s very good smoke flavor
CJ, how early did you inject the turkey breast?
30-45 min before we cooked it, if I remember right.
How is cleaning the grate dishwasher ok
I don’t do it. I hand wash everything.
Do you think the grill would have been able to fit a whole turkey? Obviously not a huge one but maybe a 10-12 pound one?
I have a 8-9 pound turkey defrosting for Tuesdays video. I’ll mention whether or not you can fit anymore size to the grill.
@@CookingWithCJ thanks!
A perfect looking turkey breast. Cheers, CJ! 👍👍✌️
Thanks brother! Cheers!
I never cared for turkey but you may have just changed my mind.
Right on!
Looks a little bit overcooked; probably is a good idea to remove it from grill at 155 F
Nope, cooked perfect. 160 is the number I stick with. But you can roll with 155 if that’s what you dig.
Did you thaw this first?
Yes they were thawed
@CookingWithCJ Thank You!!! I could only find the Jennie O turkey breast. It says not to thaw, but I swear I have in the past and it turned out better lol. Thanks for all the awesome videos!!
