Nigel has proved to be so much better at interviewing than any of the MSM presenters. He gets such a wide variety of guests too. There are people who just think of him as an MEP and don’t like home because of it. I think they should really start looking at his show.

As far as I understand it was guidance from the government,not law or legally compelling. Wimbledon was under no obligation to adhere and Russians themselves are not banned from entering the UK. Wimbledon did not have to do this. Essentially they could have told the government that the running of the tournament was nothing to do with them. However,it appears to show they types still in charge at Wimbledon that they so easily submitted to government wishes. This thread is not about whether one agrees with the decision or not,merely pointing out that Wimbledon position that "they had no choice" does not appear to be true.

Why doesn’t the BBC make a fun foodie programme? In the lines of Sesame Street . Put it on initially when mums are home with their pre school children and maybe re show again in the evenings. Make food fun from a very early age and also educate the parent too.

It's human nature to play the blame game , unfortunately those fingered are usually the innocent. Annabel and Nigel were correct that today s children are badly fed. I am pointing the blame were it is deserved. The Labour Party 1965 Comprehensive schools act. When there were separate schools for the sex's ( have to double the number of schools today ) girls were taught cooking /dress making subjects useful to them . Boys woodwork/metal work which most would find beneficial. I was born at the tail end of 1940 , and well remember rationing , and as my mother hated shopping for the daily groceries . i had to do it. Therefore I know what I am talking about. What meat was available within the power of the book was what you got. Having said that my mother produced fantastic dinners daily and variety. From stews to suet puddings all were fantastic , because she learnt at school how to cook. // Living as I do in Thailand , the number of fat kids I see in the rural villages is the same as England. If a Thai kid wants to go to a local shop , its a motor bike ride , even for distances below a 100 yards.When they get to the shops its to buy crisps , cakes , cola . Here is food for thought , the USA has in operation sanctions on 25 different countries . What is wanted is for the world to sanction them for exporting junk.

Annabelle was the Emma Raducanu of her era. A pretty average player but she looked good. And the thing with tennis is, the money is so insane that even if you're average you can become a millionaire quite easily if you are marketable. I'd like to see the london mayor too :) Talking pints is a good show, but it seems to be a bit dated with its guests, like they're trying to bring the 'old boy's network' and the 80's back. I'd like to see some diversity (not just ethnic diversity either...political, cultural,etc). Brexit should be for all.
He would never come on GB News. He will not appear on some shows on LBC Radio where the presenters previously criticised him.

@@philmatthews5523 The law is the law. Even in Australia. 99% of Australians thought he was being an idiot. Being a 'celebrity' tennis player doesn't put you above the law. Australia is an egalitarian society - and he was just being up himself. We hate that. He should have pulled his head in and so should have Nigel at the time. He backed the wrong horse. But Nigel got the exposure he craved at the time.
What law? A Czechoslovakian player was allowed in unvaccinated and wasn't expelled until Djokovic arrived. Djokovic is Yugoslavian and was booted out for that reason, alone.
