For those who still don't understand the video. The cut-off voltage in a cell of this SAMSUNG INR 21700 40T 4000mAh lithium battery is 2.5V according to the technical data sheet. In this case, the cut-off voltage to be regulated on the DL24 would theoretically be 12.5VDC, but this is not how it works in these power tool batteries, that is, the voltage cut-off occurs when the batteries no longer turn on the equipment. This cut-off voltage on equipment is 15.5 VDC to 15.00 VDC on 20 V or 18 V battery-powered tools. For example, a fully charged 18 V Bosch battery is approximately 21.03 VDC. When fully discharged on Bosch 18V tools, it cuts the power supply at 15.0VDC, that is, this is the real cut-off voltage of the already assembled 8Ah battery. He did everything correctly in the video, including regulating the discharge current, which is 800mAh, on this SAMSUNG INR 21700 40T 4000mAh cell. As the pack of these batteries is 5S2P per series of each 5 cells of 4000mAh we will have a discharge of 5 X 800mAh = 4000mAh. Congratulations on the video.

Old Tupperware food storage boxes work great to build stuff like this. they are tough yet easy to cut and the cover can still pop off for easy access inside.

That's right Brother, I make it to measure LiFePO4 batteries but you can measure any kind of batteries, even power banks, chargers and cable resistances at different currents.
full capacity (8Ah) is between 4.2V and 2.5V not 3.1V as was on movie.
In fact, the cut-off voltage in a cell of this model 21700 4000mAh Lithium battery is 2.5V according to the datasheet. In this case, the cut-off voltage to be regulated on the DL24 would theoretically be 12.5VDC, but this is not how it works in these power tool batteries, i.e. the voltage cut-off occurs when the batteries no longer turn on the equipment. I feel so stupid. I can't get this setup. i have 8,[ Unmatched ], 105, 3.2 volt, Ah lifepo4 cells, and all I want is to write a known capacity number on each of these.

Teraz nie pokazuje prawdziwego napięcia na testowanej baterii.
