That wasn't a travel guide. Nicely put together, but it didn't do what it said on the tin.

Albufeira it is very busy only in July and August, to much I have to say! You can visit Albufeira all year, but it depend of what you most like. If you like beach and night life, come to visit us from June to the end of September. If you most prefer peace and quiet, less crowds, public beaches, nature, no toasting warm, you should come visit us in October and all Spring! Its about amazing countryside too. Even in January the fields stays green. For instance, the masses of almond trees in full bloom in some parts of the Algarve make a very beautiful and striking sight, our "snow"! And dont forget the superb cultural heritage. So, In Albufeira and remaining Algarve you could have always a nice vacation, depending of your will. If you need more information, please be my guest, I`ll be glad to give the best tips and advisor.

Oh good thanks. The fewer English places the better to be honest as we arent the looking for English places types, we like to try the local places and food which is why we always go self catering. Looking forward to a boat trip or two and trying out a safe (I cant swim) water-sport that they have on. Were a about 150m from the strip and about 100m from the beach so all perfect, oh and with a sea view........getting soooo excited.. Thanks for the video taking the trouble to reply to me its very much appreciated

I've been and I wouldn't go back.Portugal as a whole isn't for me.I wouldn't say they are that friendly of people especially with tourists. Also albufeira and villamoura where I have been are not really very pretty places in comparison to other countries I have visited.Too much greenary I've from Yorkshire England I've seen enough.I prefer the volcanic look canaries tops this place go there :)

Comparing Vilamoura one of the best resorts in Europe with volcanic places its really great! So different can`t you see?
Please, did you visited the Wild west coast, the mountains, The nature parks, the ancient villages, the caves, the cliffs??? Take a look to my picture, did you see anyone sad? They are 1% of my customers and I guarantee you that the Algarve is one of the most beautiful places and that's why we have 7 millions visitors for 400.000 inhabitants.
I am a traveller too, when I visited England some places I didn't like, however I visited many other lovely places... But I not compare Bristol and volcanic landscapes because doesn't make any sense!
      Cheers!
