I think the book described the ship capsizing onto her side as she sank after the rolling off the iceberg.
But still good video.

During Robertson’s life, before he wrote Futility the vessel _Titania_ was swamped by a storm in 1865 and the crew had to be rescued by the ship _Florida_ (ironic since California ignored Titanic’s rockets.) In 1880 Titania hit an iceberg and everyone was saved except the owner. By 1882 Titania had successfully crossed from England to the US 10 times before being lost at sea with all hands, suspected to have hit another iceberg. I’m quite sure this is the source for Robertson’s novela. By the way, the first printing of Futility had the liner at 45 tons with 45 hp engines. A revised printing in 1912 raised those figures to 75 tons and 70 hp to be closer to Titanic, and the title _”Futility”_ had this tagline added: _The Wreck of the Titan._
