Death is also important, it gives life to rebirth, if you don't accept that you will one day let go of your current body, you will spend your whole life trying not to grow up and pass on knowlage of what you have learnt, and eventurly be buried with the answers to a happy life instead of sharing it with the universe.
That's the biggest topic about Yin Yang balance.

We noticed that he said on his own trail, "Some day are we worse than others." WE=mc2, in light of Yang & Yin, notice that George spoke from Yin when he said that. If he spoke from Yang he would've said, "Some days are 'better' than others." It's all there, right out in front of our words.
My Nan now passed on, always told my you must cry to appreciate laughter, sad to appreciate happy, bored to know excitement, rain to love sunshine, she was wise to her own yin & yang, I am yang in personality 😊

I like how you provide historical background information. It is hard to accept the message of someone when you don't understand why they said what they said, and that's why in philosophy classes, we start with learning history!

I never really thought of it in terms of yin yang, only in masculine and feminine energies and balancing that. Also I always get yin and yang mixed up lol
When I’m too goal focused (masculine), then I become unhappy and need to balance it with being in the present moment (feminine). This for me is the hardest balance to achieve.
I imagine logic is a masculine energy and intuition is a feminine energy, and again we need the balance of both to guide us in life. This has been something I’ve learned the hard way, especially when I’ve only made decisions or lived life through logic.
On a day to day basis, after I do a MMA training session I am aware I need to do yoga or some stretching afterwards to balance out my energies.
Everyone has masculine and feminine traits in them and it’s important to balance yourself.
