In this video, Ben is backstage at Avril Lavigne's Cardiff Castle Concert. What an amazing location to do a fret level, crown and polish.
Ben had the pleasure to meet and work on David Immerman's Taylor backstage (or side stage) while the band did sound checks before the show.

Fresh and different sort of video. Good to be out on location sometimes.
You got that right!
I LOVE THIS! I'd love to see more videos like this! It's so interesting to hear how guitar techs keep these instruments going and keep their artists happy. SO COOL! Great work Ben.
Great video! I got a bit stressed when it felt like there was a tight deadline and Ben went into tutorial mode!
we need more of these videos, behind the stage, with the crew going through measurements and tools etc.. this is like a whole series of videos right here with a different band featuring in every video..
This was awesome 👍
How freaking cool was that!!!
What an opportunity! great video.
Thank you
That was absolutely amazing ben. Really enjoyed this video. Cheers.
Ohhh I feel cheated!! Not even a glimpse of Avril. So cool to see her over that Limes disease thing and back on stage. The new mature sound is awesome. Was kinda hoping to hear that guitar on the big speakers or even thru the board at sound check.
Great video, really enjoyed it.
Awesome, thank you!
So awesome, thanks Ben
damn, David just seems like the nicest, most down to earth guy you could imagine. Amazing video!
Absolutely loved this video.
Ben working to a deadline 😮😂
I know right?! It was so hard not to get distracted.
That's pretty cool Ben! Not been watching YT much lately, You're looking good!
I miss my touring days now, cheers Ben xx
Ben great fret job ! and setup !
and Ben you are a rockstar ! you are a great guitar artest !
Thank you kindly!
@@CrimsonCustomGuitars you are welcome
Top man!!!
Love when I get the chance to tech on shows it is so much fun and great to switch up from the workshop
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome 👌
Thanks 🤗
Dude😂 where is the rest of you gone looking good man
What an experience! God I can’t imagine being able to concentrate on that with everything around you. Id want to just sit and observe and if they had time to geek out on gear, go full on geek! Lol. Kudos to you for testing your adhd. I don’t have adhd and I’d be totally distracted lol.
Ben Crowe on tour! 👍🤘🤘
Loved this Ben,there you go another profession for you lol
Maybe one day!
Nice BTS video. I would like to be a guitar tech for about a week! Then I couldn't take it anymore. I'm surprised they don't have a "be a guitar tech for a day" packages along with all the other stuff they sell on these tours.
Does Ben have a Batman style utility belt, except that ever pocket is just filled with rolls of masking tape? 😂
Nice :) will you be at the brighton guitar show? If so I take your point re aluminium notched straight edges...let me know if you're going and will have some with you :)
like this Real life!
😊👍🏻
Can we suggest other bands that you can go - chat to about their instruments while you give them a once over before a gig? It’s a great format.
I have a -90 PRS with absolutely horrendous condition original frets. They are all dented and flattened. Still, it plays nicely. Until it doesent, one day.
It's funny to see how guitar nerds can talk guitar at the drop of a hat.
Question? Did you ask which Avril Levine it was😂
