YAMAHA 1200R - 800 R Wave-runner Jet Pump impeller replacement

Today we’re going to change an Yamaha impeller with a trick I use. This will work on nearly all the late model jet boats and jet skis.

Hey. Great video. I have a 1996 yamamha wave raider 1100 and the impeller does NOT have a machined area to put a wrench on for removal. It is smooth. Looks like there may be teeth on the inside of impeller. Is there a tool to slide into inside of impeller to remove? Everywhere I look the impeller has the machined area to put wrench on.
